@fosbinder

i disagree with every single thing you suggested.

more player count means its way longer and harder to start a game

current map isnt made to fit this mini game a new map would be needed to fit its particular needs

and removing the time limit is really dumb beacuse of disconects and potentional of this going for hours and hours just for 1 match

Well.. If you like Hoochie more than Gucci , I cant really help ya.. lol

H1Z1 is a children's battleroyal , as anyone can tell from keeping VOI* on while at the lobby..

*Insert 25 screaming children for 5 minutes*

Also , yes.. You are witnessing the H1Z1 Vs DayZ argument on a runescape forum.. lol

I like this idea, it sounds like a lot of fun, but I really don't think that cash reward is necessary. Not to mention if people just keep spending 100k upon release and keep losing, they'll get demotivated to keep playing this minigame and it can eventually become dead content.

Maybe focus on why existing minigames are currently dead content like Castle Wars.

Also, unless you have a way to GUARANTEE that this is impossible to goldfarm, put this off.

No more OP minigames (NMZ looking @ U, even though I'm guilty of training there as well :p )

I love the concept! I just have a few remarks:

1) I highly recommend giving players random names and disabling all chats throughout the duration of the minigame. That way clans can't team up in the minigame unless they're using TeamSpeak. To prevent clans from getting an advantage through TeamSpeak, a few things can be done. Firstly, make sure people can't see their own name and appearance to others and change them up every 1-5 minutes. And secondly, make sure players are teleported to random locations every 1 to 5 minutes at the same time their name and appearance changes so the chance of finding eachother again is reduced significantly.

2) I agree with others that more attention should go to already existing minigames. Why is the once so great Castle Wars minigame being neglected? Why are there no rewards and supplies for runes and ammo provided? I love minigames and it hurts me that really only BA and PC are being played. You don't need to be a detective to figure why that is.

I'd like for people to use their own skills, because it'd incentivise getting higher levels outside of the game. If you want to keep the maxed stats in some way, you can always have a "fun mode" where you can toggle the maxed-ness on or off.

What if you added some kind of tangible rewards, item boosts and/or cosmetic options?

Since this is a survival minigame, why not offer rewards that extend the use of certain degradables and consumables? You could use an easy token system to keep track of everything.
Some possibilities:
-Chance of saving a charge when teleporting with amulet of glory/ring of duelling/games necklace/etc.
-Chance of saving a charge when using staff of the dead
-Slower degradation of barrows equipment
-Chance of saving runes when casting magic spells
-Chance of healing 5%, 10%, or 25% more health when eating (non-pvp)
-Prayer point longevity
Stuff like barrows, I think, should cost a lot of tokens due to balancing, obviously.

Good idea so far.

Great concept, love the idea, similar to clan wars, but rewards should involve more than just GP as players who win will most likely not be in need of more cash. Perfect opportunity to expand Void Armour/ Create something similar just like barbarian assault/ pest control rewards. Looking forward to what the outcome of this is!
