This kind of stuff is a waste of developers time. After the initial hype it will become another piece of dead content in the game just like clanman mode.

Time and effort would be better spent on new quests and content which further continue runescape lore.

Looks pretty good, a few ideas/suggestions though.

I don't like how you get boosted to max stats, should use your current in-game stats and be put into games with players that are similar in combat level to you. Also, I would like it more skill based with fishing, cooking, wc, fletching, mining, smithing, slayer, etc so the stats people have grinded out in the actual game matter in LMS. With skilling being used, its not all luck and involves some strategy (making/gathering food, weapons, armour, runes, etc at the right time and order), instead of just getting lucky and looting a randomly generated crate for an AGS and slaughtering everyone. If people do want more skilling in this mini-game, then total level could be used instead of combat level to make the groups of players so it is competitive.

Great content love the idea. I like how everyone is max so everyone has an equal chance. I really want more people to come play runescape though and I think this might need more incentive than just top 2 get gold. I definitely think their should be some points or at least some reward. If you're a top 10 player and you want to get to top 5 but you're not getting anything out of it then it doesn't seem as appealing after you've played it several times. Maybe some more nightmare zone like rewards or something cosmetic can come from this. Keep it up the good work guys I love watching a game I love grow

deadcontent mode 2; same content different marketing. this is basciallyyyyy a money making method 3m/h if you are good at pking which majority of OSRS players arent good at. would rather just brid in world 25 or deep wildy and do zulrah on the side (much more rewarding and satisfying) - unlocked and searched all items already doing quests in game lmao.

how about work on a wilderness rejuvenation 2?

the problem i see with stuff like this is that its a broken rewards system just like tzhaar fight pits for example.

the reason is this even though you provided a unique way to have fun, you limit the success of the game by a broken reward system.

you have a set price entry and reward payout which will only appeal to certain players in that interest therefore it may not be an interest to people with like billions of gold for example maybe only on hype which is around the first bit of time after release or occasionally for fun.

but if could be like the duel arena for example where it also added a custom game made where competitors could set a certain entry fee this would make it alot more popular.

A great idea. I think the reward system is a bit broken. If there only are 1/25 chance for winning 1.5 m and 1/25 for winning 500.000 - consequently 2/25 of winning a reward in addition to the free tickets for 3rd, 4th and 5th place. It's a too low chance for winning something. There should be some "reward points" for everyone, depending on their place. The reward points must be used in a reward shop. I don't know what the rewards could be, maybe just some xp in combat like the soul wars. You could also add some new items to the shop... - you decide :P . In addition to the reward shop, there could be some achievements, which for example unlocks new maps in the minigame. The acvhievements could be completed if you played a certain number of games in "Competive mode", getting a certain number of kills etc.

I really like the gold sink. It's a good idea to get some coins out of the game to balance the economy. RS3 could learn about that.

We need hiscores for this and for other activities. Hiscores adds game more competitive gameplay which gives players more game pleasure. Don't add hiscores for already dead content like cw or trouble brewing but like pc and ba, clues, barrows etc. Even though they are grind.

How would this go with ironman mode? I could see some abusing this and getting a team together to put cash onto one account. I like the idea but I agree with others that reviving other dead mini games should take priority, not making new ones just yet.

- This arena can test new weapons (chaotics , pvp armour , D claws , ...)
- Not as much free tickets (more money gone)
- Make something in game non-tradeable best for skillers in slot or something : hammer for smithing , .... (People will play it to get max xp rates in a skill)
- Minigame rewards look awesome max = gilded or something
- Make a high tier one 1m buy in (4m gone every game)
- Let people gamble on who will win (extra money gone)
