I like the idea and it sounds interesting as a minigame.

The only thing I have a problem with is the given; max stats. No other mini-game has provided this temporary boost on entrance. I would be more inclined to enjoy this minigame if there was a potion (whether common or not) that we had to find in order to max our stats. Perhaps this potion also has a small chance of decreasing our stats instead.

Something feels wrong to me that we will be able to play content that we haven't earned in some way. While drinking a 'max potion' doesn't come close to the effort needed to max an account, it does provide us an incentive to work for this content in some way. Additionally, what happens to the people who died in the first few minutes of the game? Are they really going to have to sit and wait for 20 minutes for a game to finish? I see this mechanic as one that will quickly lead to this minigame's demise.

I will definitely enjoy any new minigame that is released. I'm a huge minigame fan.

Everyone should spawn with a low tier pickaxe and axe, and there should be spots to mine mith, addy, and rune and then places to smelt and smith armor, incase you cant find anything. I think that would be a cool twist

Seems like a great idea. I can't see how any one could vote no, honestly. It doesn't add any new items or threaten to change the community or mechanics of the game in any significant way.

I think the fact that gold is the only reward is a good thing. This update is meant to spice up PvP a little, not completely kill off any alternative PvP zones.

I love this idea.
Some thoughts I had, the first thing I thought about doing was going in there with friends and teaming up. A way to combat people teaming up outside of the minigame is to make the match making random. So even if my friend and I go in together we may not be in the same game.
Also maybe when you win along with the coins you get tickets similar to castle wars. The tickets can be used for different item rewards.

Sounds like fun!

I think both gamemodes should also give tokens to buy a few nifty rewards, maybe some items from Fist of Guthix in RS3 (ie. Runecrafter/fishing gloves and whatnot). Not anything huge, but just to act as a nice bonus feature. It would still mainly be about having fun (casual) or the cash reward (competitive).

Jagex also needs to be clear about how the game will be to play as a F2P. Will people find everything to be "members item" and will there be adverts for membership everywhere or will it actually be enjoyable? Be kind and do the right thing here, please. If you can't, just keep it a members feature tbh.

Surely if people get free tickets then it's possible to get in a game where everyone has a ticket so 2m is injected into the game, however there is obviously the cost of getting the ticket in the first place so it is overall a money sink, but can a player have more than one ticket at a time or are they forced to use their current ticket if they have one? Sounds like an amazing idea btw, good strategy Jagex to increase publicity by having people stream this on Twitch or make YouTube videos on it! H1Z1 meets Runescape, the hype is real :D

not a bad idea, though the only problem i see with this is that clans or other players might team up against solo'ers leaving them at a huge disadvantage. one way to make it more fair is to randomize which players they are going against so that they have no idea who will be on the island with them thus keeping the theme literally every player for themselves all throughout
