1. Disable player trading.
- With the ge, player trading isn't necessary. Can stop muling almost completely. Will stop people from swapping their 2007 gold for an advantage on a completely different game mode.

2. Massive PJ timer.
- A part of the new update states this "We will be removing the teleport delay for unskulled players. This change will bring life back to teleblock and the normal spellbook, as well as giving unskulled players a better chance of survival when up against movement impairing spells."
OK, it sure will bring life back to the teleblock, now 1 person in a group of skulled pkers needs one person with 85 magic and to be on regular spellbook. So he can throw tbs and then let the barragers in his group do the work, while solo pkers are now forced to use regular magics only in order to skull pk. This is a massive advantage for clan pking in single combat areas. Make this game playable for the solo player or it will die just as fast every season, if they even come back to try it at all. Stop clan pking in single combat. Make people pk 1v1 in single combat areas, add a large pj timer, maybe 30 seconds. This will change nothing for single pkers, while making it so clans can't just run around with their tber hitting everyone for their clan.
I'm not really sure this update is good for the game at all anyways. I know there are many issues that are being faced by the developing team, but this is not the solution to stop people from quitting. Instant teleports while unskulled just makes clans more overpowered, single skulling impossible without teleblock, and makes the ancient spellbook useless for solo pkers.
The idea of the update isn't very deadman like anyways. The whole danger of deadman was being caught away from a bank/safe zone, now it's the "rush" of hitting your teleport faster than the tber.

Will these changes be making it into normal deadman as well? PLEASE...I don't want to be forced to play seasonal due to the idea of making a account just to have it reset and do that crap all over again drives me insane.


I'm a long term player and would love to see this implemented into normal deadman so I can actually use the ge there...standing for 30mins and offering 40k for a black * hide chap with no response sucks

Changes to experience lost on death:
A player can now have one account for pking and level only combat on it, and then have a level 3 account for skilling. They'll get resources on the level 3 account, low-risk because it's only level 3 and no one can take too much xp away from them, then transfer the resources/money to their pk account for equipment and food and do fighting on there. I know this means some players will have 2 memberships and that means more money for you... but come on. That's cheating. The game should not avoid punishment in this way.

Changes to items lost on death:
First off, why not just bring back protect item prayer? If we're going to breathe life back into teleblock we might as well have protect items, too. And if there is such an issue of players joining late and falling behind, as mentioned in the exp loss section, isn't it better for players to lose MORE items when they die? This way everyone is going to have harder resets and keeps the field more level.
I am actually neutral toward your 10-items-not-28 proposition, but I just wanted to play devil's advocate.

What will stop people from making a 'mule' account to get as many trees in possible in 6 hours and then send the logs to their fletcher account? super safe right...

I feel like the point of deadman mode is that it's supposed to be rough and rugged and hard. Grand Exchange makes trading high levelled equipment way too easy and fast and ruins haggling. And it makes it hard to trade lower level items... what about the good old fashioned 'bsale'?
Plus, what then would be the point of using NPC shops? They finally restock at a sensible rate and have good costs... trading with players should only happen if you really need it. Why would anyone bother studying the game and knowing what shops to go to or how to make stuff if you can just buy from more experienced players??
Not to mention... what if you get PKed with items on the market? Let's say I want to sell my top 6 items for 1t each so no one buys it. Then when I die... I have 10+6 items protected?? Not cool man. If the GE comes back (and I guess there's no changing your minds) make sure items on the market aren't safe*

** is the worst thing, imo, that has ever happened in RuneScape... but if you decide to implement it into DMM... make it an unguarded zone pls ;)

Personally I'd rather that area of land turn back into the field it was pre-GE. I hate the GE. I'll never like it. It creates more problems that it solves.

If you really hate standing around a bank advertising so much just go onto a fansite... there are plenty of trade offers there. There's more to the community of this game than people realize.

Experience rates depending on level:

If trying to make things easier/faster so we have more time to PK is the goal... then wtf is the point of the rest of the game??

There are quests to play... areas to explore... minigames galore...

I don't play DMM just to PK. I play DMM because I think runescape should be more challenging. I am playing the game just as if it were a game in a world with laws where crime is still possible. I started playing again for OS and I bought membership again for DMM Seasonal. Exploring, adventuring, fighting monsters, doing quests... that's all part of the game. Making trading super easy so most people don't bother with the rest of the difficult things isn't going to benefit anyone except the one pump chumps who buy gold from rsmalls and then quit as soon as they get pk'* once

Instant telly will kill solo pkers and cause more clan Pk.
Trying to solo pk with tb/ entangles is 6 rune spots. Solo pkers can't tank for that long.
I think skull hunters should skull when they attack a skulled pker. Maybe not for 30 min but 5?
Because this would give more insentive to skull pk. And hunters will think twice before pjing

With no noted food/ pots being nerfed I think the rune pouch should be bought with blood money. Maybe 10 coins?
