Can we please get a response as to why venom no longer affects penance creatures, especially as to why this was implemented without a poll? I see 0 reason for this update, know of absolutely nobody in the community who had a problem with it and I don't see how it could be a bug.
In a Rumble dream, the game looks at what bosses are unlocked, and calculates a points multiplier accordingly. If you've unlocked every boss you get the maximum multiplier; if you've just unlocked a few easy ones you get a small multiplier.
If you have the Dream Mentor bosses unlocked, but not Desert Treasure, the multiplier is lower than you might expect, since the Dream Mentor bosses consist of huge sacks of HP.
The calculation is the same regardless of whether your bosses are selected from the new Customisation menu or whether you're getting whatever quests the entire party's unlocked (i.e. the Rumbles you've had since launch).
This means that today's update doesn't actually give you much that you didn't have before. It just makes it easier to get that kind of Rumble without needing a specially customised account.
That's fair. That raises one question though;
If one were to create a custom dream and exclude a low-level boss (like Elvarg), would the multiplier still be the same or is it dependent on the amount of bosses included in the rumble?
So if I included every other boss, but excluded Elvarg, would that lower my point-multiplier?
For maximum amount of points, would it be required to include every single boss or is it a select few that increase the multiplier?
Everything about this update is great with now being able to choose bosses for nmz. However this business with taking away venom damage to penance creatures should be put into a poll. Venom makes Barbarian Assault go a lot smoother especially when playing with people who are not as familiar with it as I am. Overall everyone that I have talked to about this is very mad over this update because we had no say over whether venom should be allowed or not. I think that if you put being able to use venom on penance creatures in a poll then you will find that most of the community likes it.

I know it's not being ruled out, but I'm just curious, would it take a lot of dev time? I've been going off the assumption that Mod Jed saved the dark blue set he made all along. If he didn't that changes the picture quite a bit.
Setting the colours isn't particularly hard; implementing the code for you to buy (and revert) the item (and store it in POH in future) would take more dev time.

Dark Blue specifically makes sense because graceful is obtained from agility and because of the graceful perk agility cape.
A max cape encompasses an Agility cape, and thus would make as much sense to demand.

Any of the j mods know why world 39 (or the other few skipped worlds) doesn't exist?
World numbers are set based on where the world is hosted. Where one hosting facility has fewer worlds than another, you get gaps in the number list.

If you have every boss in the dream, you get the maximum multiplier.
If you exclude any, you get a lower multiplier. This applies to Elvarg, same as any other boss.
Excluding a boss via the menu is exactly equivalent to excluding it by having a limited account setup. So you're getting the same multiplier now as you would if you'd paid a host account that hadn't completed

Every added boss increases the multiplier. For obvious reasons bosses like King Roald increase it by less than, say, the Giant Roc.
