I'm happy with damage NOT being pooled. This is the reason I voted no initially. I would prefer to see an Instant share/coinshare though.

From my experience playing rs3 I'm not a fan of the Shardshare system, because the shards never seem to match the item price perfectly (Street Values/Current market value), and people just try to buy shards for under ge value to make a quick profit by combining and selling the item. Though players trying to make a quick profit could be the lesser of evils when comparing and contrasting the different methods to allocate loot.

You people suggesting Coinshare, it's not going to happen. It inflated RS3 too much with Coins. If it'd split drops by alch value then it wouldn't be a killer.

But spawning 55M split from an Armadyl Hilt, 55M has been spawned into the Server instead of another Armadyl Hilt out of maybe 5,000 in the game.

Coinshare will not happen you are correct it makes the games economy crash to hard but they have found alternatives to coinshare such as instantshare which would ensure the item would be sold before the gold was split.

I would poll instant share and lootshare in the same poll. That way the community can decide what they like the most. Instant share or Lootshare.

i agree with this i strongly think you should poll a straight vanilla lootshare and instantshare in the poll Monday.

I am pleased you are trying to offer things as close to what the community wants as possible.

That said, I don't see a reason for LootShare in OSRS. As it stands now, you go in a team and if you get a drop that person shares it with the others in team after the trip. Nothing wrong with that.

I don't understand the need for a LootShare system. Also if question 1 passed (which it wont) they why wouldn't question 2, a LootShare with no balancing system sounds more useless than a LootShare system...

I agree with this.

Someone suggested this in a previous Blog...but, why not just make LSP only relevant to specific bosses.
Like...if I'm doing Corp and miss a sigil, that LSP will ONLY apply to Corp.
If I'm doing Saradomin GWD and miss a Hilt, that LSP will ONLY apply to Saradomin GWD

That sounds like a great idea to me!

For those of you who want "coinshare" or "instantshare" I hope you realize Jagex stated they need a lootshare base to implement that policy. If you really want instantshare or coinshare, you should be supporting lootshare.

The next thing is many of you guys insist that we don't need lootshare. However, considering Zeah is coming out, Jagex also stated they will be implementing a new type of boss/new type of fight mechanics called "Raids." While we may not need lootshare now, we will definitely need it, or something similar to it, in the future. This basic setup, where people randomly get drops regardless of damage, is perfect for raids because sometimes you won't always be doing damage in those raids, or at least that is what has been implied. Jagex wants to save time now by implementing it, which is why it keeps getting repolled.

Do me one huge favor and please read the dev blogs thoroughly rather than posting unhelpful, bashing comments. Argue why lootshare is unnecessary; don't just state you hate it because "it's part of rs3" or "we don't need this trash."

what happening to the original instantshare idea? imo the whole point of ls/cs is so you can team with random people without the need to trust them, it may make it fairer for people tanking but i dont think that was ever really a problem

If this would pass..jagex will move on and never get option for coinshare...Also teams should be able to share damage..thats reason for having teams without that will have players crashing world hopping...Get it right or just forget about it jagex.... we dont just want recycled rs3 failures..

Tweaked CoinShare

This would work like InstantShare/CoinShare but different

1. The Team get the drop
2. Generate the money, 3341K will be dropped to the 4 team members.
3. The Bandos Chestplate goes straight into Grand Exhange for Mid offer.
4. Grand Exhange updates prices, the Chestplate follow the mid price and stays until sold.
5. Once bought by another player, the money will get deleted from the game.

This would of course generate and delete more/less money over the time, but should not be enough to effect the economy.
What are you, a concerned beaver?
