So in an attempt to stop a team of low levels from crashing a high level...you instead make a system that allows 1 high level player to crash a team of 10 low levels.....

Yeah...no thanks.
I'd MUCH MUCH rather just have dedicated Lootshare worlds.

I also really don't understand how Lootshare would work without LSP.
It basically means someone can get a lucky B2B Sigil drop, leaving everyone else in the dust.

Someone suggested this in a previous Blog...but, why not just make LSP only relevant to specific bosses.
Like...if I'm doing Corp and miss a sigil, that LSP will ONLY apply to Corp.
If I'm doing Saradomin GWD and miss a Hilt, that LSP will ONLY apply to Saradomin GWD
-----------------------------------

With this current presentation, I'll definitely vote no.
Everything's an integrity issue if you troll enough.

Don't think we need this people share anyway with tanks.

the old idea with everyone getting a part of the drop was so nice
because then you don't play with fear of getting scammed

this loot share is the same ish as now.

We can simply make the item sells at GE highest current bidder.

and what do you do if there is no current high bid or the high bid is WAY below the actual value. a lot of items have people that put in bids of 100 gp when its worth millions, just on the chance someone will put in a item with a offer of 1 gp accidently.
frankly my dear, I couldn't give a dam. never had a river to build one on.

Seems to be a reasonable disadvantage. It's your fault and problem if you don't have friends to trust. You either play with friends or you lose some money. Pretty fair in my opinion. It would be essentially an anti-scam insurance (insurances are not for free not even in rs (e.g. pets))

For those of you who want "coinshare" or "instantshare" I hope you realize Jagex stated they need a lootshare base to implement that policy. If you really want instantshare or coinshare, you should be supporting lootshare.

The next thing is many of you guys insist that we don't need lootshare. However, considering Zeah is coming out, Jagex also stated they will be implementing a new type of boss/new type of fight mechanics called "Raids." While we may not need lootshare now, we will definitely need it, or something similar to it, in the future. This basic setup, where people randomly get drops regardless of damage, is perfect for raids because sometimes you won't always be doing damage in those raids, or at least that is what has been implied. Jagex wants to save time now by implementing it, which is why it keeps getting repolled.

Do me one huge favor and please read the dev blogs thoroughly rather than posting unhelpful, bashing comments. Argue why lootshare is unnecessary; don't just state you hate it because "it's part of rs3" or "we don't need this trash."

After reading through again, I think the best option would be to poll loot share with boss based lsp and pooled damage.

1) Encourages community engagement

2) Without a coin split option of sorts, loot share, randomly awarded in teams(at first since everyone would start with 0 lsp) with boss based potential provides a safe way to earn loot - without risk of scamming if you prefer not to be a social butterfly and/or add people and/or join a clan.

i vote no because:

a system in which drops are randomly handout out is useless to any team that intends on splitting.

it is counter-productive to clans in that a day old member of 90 combat could land a high cost drop. i prefer to take noobs and build a relationship with them before trusting them with huge splits.

it offers no benefits to prevent crashers that the previous polls did.

the current system motivated me to grind my levels/gear when i was new because i found it embarrassing to constantly be out hit.

things i would like to see instead:

a lootshare based system, coming with the clan update that gives rare drops to the highest rank at the trip. not includeing pets/clues and still broadcasts who did the most damage.

insta-share appeals to me because of the convenience. if there can be previsions in place to make sure the item doesn't sell way under market. but i am not willing to have vanilla lootshare in the interim.

Although I agree with you for the most part, I'm sort of lost because zeah is already out. Mind clarifying and shortening a little bit?
