@Trio Kings

Technically all of these items will be a "new pvm drop" because it requires the zenyte shards to make the gem which can only be obtained through killing whatever they add for the quest.

I would love to see this quest but I have a few concerns:

1. I would love to see a long quest (Nomad's Requim was too short for a Grandmaster imo), but long quests can easily become tedious and boring quests if they are created poorly. For example, although While Guthix Sleeps and One Small Favor are both very long quests, WGS was exiting the whole way through, while OSF got very repetitive and became a chore very quickly.

2. I don't think anybody should be able to use the ballista. I think it makes much more sense as a weapon that can only be used after you have completed the quest, like the dragon scimitar was for MM1. This gives incentive for people to actually do the quest and is a nicer reward for people who have completed the quest than just the ability to obtain the ballista through non-trading means. I also think it should be able to hit a bit higher than a crossbow using equivalent ammo (ex. ballista with rune javelins should hit higher than cbow with rune bolts)

3. While I think the quest needs a little more of a reward than just the ballista, I don't like the jewelry idea for a couple of reasons. First, it will increase the prince of onyx, and Zulrah is already a ridiculously ** moneymaking method. Second, we recently had a jewelry based update in the form of all the wilderness rings. Third, the stats on the jewelry aren't very balanced:
-With the new bracelet, the max magic damage boost will be 30% and barrage will hit ridiculously high
-With the new necklace, 99 range/45 defence voiders will hit even harder and more accurately and equivalent level zerkers wont stand a chance, leading to lots of voiders who will have an even harder time finding a fight
-The fury already makes a very good melee amulet and the new one will be inferior in many circumstances
-The new ring will go mostly unused as 90% of runescape players will take a damage or accuracy bonus over a defence bonus, even in roles such as tanking bosses

For the pure question at the end, don't say 'so pures can access ape atoll' or people will vote no because they are haters. Just say 'should players be able to go to Ape Atoll without needing to finish Daero's training?'

As for the Zenyte jewelry.. I don't get the name and why we need a new gem. I'd rather you guys use this as an opportunity to revive 'dead' gems in the game like Opal, Jade, and Topaz. Maybe you need 3,000 opal, 2,000 jade, and 1,000 red topaz gems to put into a super compressor machine to turn it in to a new gem that can be used to make the new jewelry. That way it stays expensive and hard to get and also revives dead content.

I honestly found the first MM quest to not be fun and I don't know anyone who actually thinks it was a fun quest. Please make sure it is actually fun. Maybe you can build up an army of monkies to help you fight the final boss or something tower defense style. Or hey, a new solo mini-game!! I've done it more than 6 times and each time it sucked.

Also buff RoW please!!

It's not about hating pures, it's about maintaining the integrity of the game by not allowing people who choose to limit themselves to have access to every single piece of content.

I know many people will disagree with this idea but this quest could be a perfect opportunity to release claws. The way the claws are obtained could be similar to While Guthix Sleeps in the sense that they are a rare drop from a re-killable boss after the quest, which would keep the price high. Completion of the quest could also be made a requirement to use the claws, like with most dragon weapons. Because the quest is a Grandmaster, it could easily be made too difficult for a 60 attack rusher to complete, which to my knowledge is one of the major concerns about releasing claws. The claws could also be scaled down to hit a bit lower than the AGS (I believe they already do). If claws were released in this way they would be a useful reward (in a moneymaking and a combat sense) from a challenging quest that wouldn't be overpowered for anyone that could use them, and some much needed variety would be added to the category of useful melee spec weapons.

For the Ballista weapon, I love that you guys are trying to bring some new life to javelins.

In addition to the ballista, it would be nice if javelins could get a buff of their own.

My only concern is that the weapon will not be used. Why would anyone want a ballista over a crossbow + shield? You guys should know by now the community does not like slow weapons. If it is slow it will only be useful for a killing blow in PvP but again.. why that over a crossbow with dragon bolts e? It's also very important that the weapon have a special attack to keep it fun and unique.
