Rewards:

1. Ballista weapons

Light ballistas would require 30 Ranged to equip and heavy would require 65 Ranged to equip. Ballistas will not require the completion of Monkey Madness II to use.

This makes me very sad.
More handouts.

2. Zenyte jewellery

Charged zenyte jewellery would provide a passive healing effect. If you have a charged piece of zenyte jewellery equipped you will have a 10% chance of healing 5% of the damage you deal. This effect lasts for 10,000 successful hits. Once 10,000 hits have been dealt, the zenyte jewellery returns to its uncharged state and would require another onyx to become charged once more.

For the cost of the charge, this should be a 100% chance. As a result of the change to guaranteed healing, it should be reduced to 3% of the damage dealt.

This is a no-brainer.

The current design will end up with almost noone charging their gear, except the super rich.
And even then, the cost vs reward is a terribly low ratio and hardly worth doing.

Zenyte shards and jewellery are both tradeable and usable by players who have not completed Monkey Madness II.

This makes me very sad.
More handouts.

3. Access for pures

One question that many players would like answering is whether or not pures will be able to complete Monkey Madness II. In order to answer this question, we will be polling allowing pures access to Ape Atoll without having to go through Daero's training as a part of the Monkey Madness II poll.

Whatever happened to:
If you choose to limit yourself, there is nothing we can do to fix the game to fit your play-style. You choose not to gain experience in certain skills, therefore, some parts of the game content will not be accessable to you. We will not cater to specialized builds in the game.

Rewards look completely useless. Just like every other "big update" in the past few months. I don't see myself using any of that crap. Just a bunch of low level gear for pures that don't have access to rfd gloves or maybe too poor to afford a fury. Stop listening to the sheep train that preaches "ohhh its too OP" and release some good useful updates for once. Voting no.
It's bis in some stats, it's not low level gear lol. You know the community wouldn't vote in anything much better than those - already people complaining.

Barrows gloves currently are the only high-end pvming reward. I dislike the grind of questing for 3 weeks to be able to pvm for +2 bonuses over dragon/rune gloves. Getting an amulet that powerful for doing 1 quest seems like it is lacking an aspect of the game of investing a lot of time for little reward. I would personally prefer for this amulet to be a pvming drop like all other pvming gear. Personally, I would vote no, because of the previous reason and also the fact that this amulet can heal.
Also, not sure where to comment this, but i have an idea.
HERE IS MY IDEA: BASH ME IN THE COMMENTS BELOW, IF YOU READ. TY
I was thinking maybe a gravestone system
that could be a reward from a quest. I would like something similar to each player paying 1m for a permanent gravestone and it has a 10% chance of protecting loot landed on the floor
(the more expensive the item, the higher the chance of protecting it).
For example, if a player dies with 13 items, he should save the usual 3 items/4 if protect item is active, then the other 10 or 9 should be placed into the gravestone. Once inside the gravestone it will protect on average, 10% of the 10 items that land on the floor, with a higher probability to protect the more expensive items. As the player progresses further into the quest line and pays more gp, he should be able to buy higher-tier gravestones that will protect a higher % of the loot. In my opinion, it should cap out at around
10M to save 90% of the items
, however this is just a random number to help understand the concept. Keep in mind the previous gravestones would also cost gp. Currently, without an item sink the game the price of items will progressively lower until pvming is no longer worth it. RIP,
TY 4 READING :)

PS: I Also hate quests, so if it is not a quest line that would be great, but maybe a minigame to make it require effort.

Love the quest idea as for the rewards, the ballista seems useless since we have crossbows with dragon bolts that can hit very high amounts. It needs some sort of powerful special attack to make it worthwhile.

As for the jewelry, the jewelry should have specific requirements on it including the quest. The ring's stats should require at least 60 def . A ranging necklace is a good idea that can be used for different situations where defence isn't necessary. Should require 70 range. The bracelet doesn't need a magic damage bonus. We already have the occult necklace along with sot*, smoke and slayer helmet that increases bonuses. Pures don't need 30% magic damage bonus with sot*, occult and this bracelet. Since occult is 70 mage requirement, this should be as well. The torture necklace seems alright with a 70 attack requirement.

The only issue I have with the passive effect is how it will affect bossing, particularly those who are in groups. Will make trips last significantly longer.

Possibly make RFD a required quest as well.

If we introduce BiS items, I believe the best thing to do is to use pre existing items like the Dag rings or onyx jewlery to be used with the new gem to make the item. I just think its more relevant to use old items so they dont become dead content and worthless. Please think about this before items crash like they did on rs3. :c
