Did I miss the developer blog for Coin Share? I would never vote for Loot Share or this new idea of Shard Share. The second there is a poll that asks if I would like Coin Share though I'll be voting yes to that.

yes to coinshare that doesnt affect the economy.
No such thing, the very concept of coinshare affects the economy,
The effects would be insignificant compared to the 'old' coinshare system that generates gold out of thin air. It could be done in a way that would have no more of an impact on the economy (excluding the inevitable economic impact that comes with all big updates due to players mass selling items etc) than getting the drop through any other means e.g. soloing.
They already said they have an idea of how to do this:
Original message details are unavailable.
This system is similar to CoinShare but avoids the issue of generating coins. InstantShare would not generate any coins at all. The coins would be coming straight from the offer that another player has already made in the Grand Exchange. It would not create any issue with inflation or incomplete trades.
History is tending to repeat itself now. Lootshare would've been fine (as well as coinshare). If history serves you right, when rs3 decided to remove coinshare and add shardshare, the prices weren't right, they never were. Unless you plan to update the shard price everytime the original item prices' change, this will NOT work.
It is important to draw wisdom from different places. If you take it from only one place it becomes rigid and stale

I am just amazed where Old School Runescape has gone... Wasn't the idea to get rid of all the extra BS that was destroying the game we all snuck outta bed to play at 2 A.M... Faster, Easier, more Fair...? I am just confused is this RS3 or OSRS, cause I'm having some Deja Vu here.

I voted for
LOOTSHARE
not for Shardshare. Next time you poll something don't change the project if it passes.
You didn't VOTE for anything, since it hasn't been polled.

shard thing eh i liked the LSP well if U implement both that would be fine i just care to know how close i am to getting something of worth i mostly solo cause i'm not in a clan and if i could group with randoms i would like to be grouped with near my lvl..
Waffles.
So apparently there wasn't enough positive responses to the revamped and also better versions of loot share and "coin share".
You know the one from last week where I didn't post anything but was also moderately surprised to see something that seemed to be well thought out and a great idea.
I don't really want any updates, but the loot share post shocked me and I was excited to see it polled that would have gotten a yes from me.
I don't see any good at all in shard share. It was implemented in rs3 and I do recall that it wasn't the answer, the shards never sold, cost more than the actual item did, and made the players angry.
Just from skimming this post i see that there was a lot of good feeling for the loot share it was just never voiced. Learning from my apparent mistakes I would like to voice that shard share is garbage and not original to OSRS*
The only reason why you heard more negative feedback on the lootshare system then positive is because those content with the system had no reason to leave a post. Seriously, you guys should of polled it first before making asumptions.
Please give us a Lootshare Poll first
