what.. a new skill?? why not make more weapons, bosses, food, minigames a better way to make money?? people buy gp from gold farmers for nothing.. and there is no fast way to profit. unless you are on a boss killing team of maxed out botted main accounts. free trade should be taken out; money easier to obtain. (no more rwt) soo many things to fix, dont make more headache you havent finished 07 yet. maybe druids drop unids 100% or faster fishing experience, maybe give more rare drops to noobs sometimes.. not the other way around.. make addy bars noted in gwd? better clue scroll rewards? if a broke noob is doing clue scrolls for money.. actually get a decent reward every time. i think rewards should be based on a players bank. poor need more money so beggars will become obsolete. just some ideas.. ive played runescape for 9 years i never recieved a drop worth over 200k. 99 range 2x and killed sooo many steel drags.. never a visage. so much wasted time need more reward rs

a minigame skill, each time you play any minigame you get X exp for it...
there will be specific things u can do with the levels you gain apart from just wearing and using the emote of the skillcape.
you would be able to maybe wear minigame items with a custom minigame level too them, and the better your minigame level, the more buffs you will get in game.
like maybe a combat buff for each 10 levels of minigame u gain u get +1 in all combat skills (apart from pray and hp) in minigames. this would be very useful in games like castlewars or barbarian assault.

In my opinion you should stop wasting your time in new content and work on the advertisement of osrs. Everyone i have met has been playing runescape for 4 + years on an off. You need to start gearing the game toward new players.

An incentive for new players to play is that if the game was free during holidays when most people have time off work.
I don't think you are going to eradicate bots, so stop using that as an excuse for not introducing f2p.
OSRS is fine as it is. All it needs is at least twice as many real players playing it.

If Dungeoneering returns, then my return to game will have been short lived. That was one of the things that began the game's destruction/spiral, imo. I do not want a new skill at all. The reason I came to Old School is because it is OLD SCHOOL. We all see what happened in Rs3... it began with all the unwanted "new" content and updates until it became unrecognizable. Please stop pushing new skills and "change" on us.. we are here because we like THIS game, how it is. Please don't make it into a DIFFERENT game like you did with Rs3.

Yes. 1 skill will be chosen by majority vote AND THEN we get to vote again on whether we want that skill added. It will need a 75% vote to pass.

I think it´s not a good idea to make a new skill in old rs, maybe in RS3... because we like the old times, not the new!! I am playing osrs because i can remember me on the old times, when i played RS, when there is a new Skill, it is not longer Old RS, than it is only a other Version of RuneScape!

How long till that got boring?

I loved the nostalgia for the first couple weeks. BLAST FROM THE PAST for sure. Even the players seemed to take a roll-back and it was the awesome community we use to know and be proud of!

Fact of the matter is though... the game will not survive if it doesn't move forward.
