Does the defence reduction on the warhammer stack? Like if you hit first hit, will the second hit reduce the defence further? It's believe it to be like this: Yes, but they stack on each other, not by the base level.

So a 30% reduction on 99 defence drops you to 69.

But then another successful hit would drop you to 48. Not 39.

Either way, easy counter with a restore potion.

Didn't see anything about re-introducing D&D's :( Would ad a lot of fun and break to the grind ..... for all us quest/skillers .and since it was all ready implemented once [september 2008] it wouldn't [shouldn'] be too hard to reinstate. Thank you

Did you miss the very obvious speed difference? 2.4s vs 3.6s is dramatic. It'll be a spec only thing for pvm and pvp.


Look at the proposed stats again. (barrelchest anchor and rune warhammer are speed 4 not 6, they messed that up).

Dragon Mace (lvl 60): 60 crush bonus, 55 str bonus, 3.0s per attack
Dragon Scim (lvl 60): 67 slash bonus, 66 str bonus, 2.4s per attack
Dragon 2H (lvl 60): 92 slash/80 crush, 93 str bonus, 4.2s per attack
Anchor (lvl 50): 92 crush bonus, 100 str bonus, 3.6s per attack
Abyssal dagger(lvl 70) 75 stab bonus, 75 str bonus, 2.4s per attack
Abyssal Bludgeon(lvl 70): 102 crush, 85 str bonus, 3.6s per attack
Abyssal Whip (lvl 70): 82 slash bonus, 82 str bonus, 2.4s per attack
Sara Sword (lvl 70): 82 slash/60 crush, 82 str bonus, 2.4s per attack
*D Hammer (lvl 60): 95 crush bonus, 85 str bonus, 2.4s per attack

the Dragon warhammer would be better than Abyssal weapons and kinda better than Sara Sword.

*Edit: according to the picture they posted, the dragon warhammer would be speed 6 = 2.4s per attack. this might be another typo, however, because all the other weapons in the list are actually speed 4 = 3.6s per attack while the picture shows speed 6.

Can anyone or a Mod clarify on the poll? Is everything going to be polled on the same vote or seperately? Like a poll for DMM, another for Jad, another for Dragon Warhammer, etc. or a single one? Because the most "significant" changes should be isolated polls. People have different opinions on different updates.

No mate, YOU messed it up.

Weapon speed is the number of ticks it requires to attack. Whip is 4 (2.4s) and Godswords/Anchor/DWH is 6 (3.6s).

The wiki is backwards. Stop basing off that.

Royy is right guys, pls. DWH is on the same speed as Barrelchest and other Warhammers. It isn't as fast as a whip or a d-scim.


On that note,

I'm really looking forward to the new content. New graceful colour schemes for favouring house looks pretty swell, and the teleports are looking pretty nice as well. I don't really see many problems with the Jad 2 capes; if it's going to take even MORE work to obtain them (if they are intending to make it significantly harder than current Jad), then the stats seem pretty fair for being best in slot.

Good post. I would like to start by saying: Yes!!! I have been waiting for 12 years for more dragon weapons to be released! This was very anticipated! We're only missing the shortsword now :)

With that said, however, the one thing that kind of bothers me about this update is the new capes devaluing ardy cape 4. I saw this was mentioned already, but I want to push the concern. I understand these capes will be difficult to obtain, but I really enjoyed the fact that achievement hunters/questers like myself had an option for a cape that competed with the fire cape as a BiS. Would it be possible to VERY slightly buff the ardy cape 4? I would like to maintain the new melee Jad cape as the new BiS but I wouldn't want the ardy cape 4 to feel completely devalued either.

Also, I'm a little bit worried by how good the range and magic capes are (especially the magic cape. That is BIG upgrade from the god cape.) I may vote no because of that :(
Worst case scenario, if this doesn't pass, I'm sure you guys can just push a tweak for these and then it will.
