Why won't anyone be crafting the two highest level runes in the game? Unless they make it so it's too hard/restrictive/stupid to be able to get to them I imagine only the stupid won't (applies to skillers only ofc).
There is a blood rift in the abyss, most people will probably be doing that once they unlock the blood altar or whatever.
I'm not expecting any great content from Zeah for skillers imo.

if i remember correctly they said they won't be opening those shortcuts thru the abyss, you have to run it yourself to and from the altar.
Oh joy, a summoning rehash. It better not be available for use in PVP or strong enough to trivialise bosses.
-Blast mining activity
I get the feeling that the exp rates for mining are going to skyrocket once this comes out.
- The blood and soul rune altars
That's good, I suppose.
EDIT: Why the hell hasn't the blood altar been reserved for the inside of Castle Drakan or the end of the Myreque storyline? That would be much more fitting.
- Tithe farming activity
What, like the Vyrewatch? That sounds interesting, but also like it'll go the way of Burgh de Rott Ramble if there's not a worthwhile incentive.
- New weapons and armour
If they're untradeable or past level 75 requirements I'm quitting on the spot. I don't want to relive the dungeoneering era Jagex, that's why I left EoC for OSRS.
- A new race of Lizardmen to battle
How original. Oh alright, I'll give it a chance as long as the lore doesn't get butchered.
Overall I'm not looking forward to Zeah, as based on prior experience the potential for game-breaking failure is much higher than for success.
Why not higher than 75. A pure who wants everything their way or another reason?
I'm a main, not a pure.
Weapons past 75 destroy game balance by contributing to power creep. Chaotics made essentially every preexisting boss in Pre-EOC pathetically easy, destroyed the prices of other high tier weapons, and made PVP pointless if you didn't have a CLS, maul, or a rapier. Clamouring for level 80+ equipment is just as silly as wanting summoning and dragon claws back in the game; you would destroy the longevity of the game for a few quick PKs.

And still no discussion about dragon claws when its obvious a good portion of the community wants it.
What's obvious is, it wouldn't pass.
'Build a man a fire, and he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.'
T. Pratchett, 1948-2015 RIP, you are missed

There you have it folks! Wrap up your Godsword sets and whips, it's all we have.
Seriously dude? You do know we still have TWENTY-FOUR levels of weapons beyond what is currently in game. They're not just there for no reason; max attack level is 99. If we went by this logic, there's no point going beyond 75 on any type of account.
You need to learn to accept new weapons. This is why you introduce armor of the same tier level with the weapons to balance it.
By your logic, T80 are "Too strong and devalue other weapons" Well of course they do!
Explain to me the difference between a dragon scimitar and a whip.
Or a rune scimitar and a dragon scimitar.
Of course they're supposed to be stronger. By your logic, getting T80 weapons is like using a whip on a guy in rune, and him screaming it's OP because his level 40 armor can't hold up to hits from a level 70 weapon.
People like you make this game stagnant for absolutely no reason. Get out. The game needs new items to continue; this is not a new concept.
Nope.
I would have much preferred splitting lunars into two spellbooks rather than necromancy. like, say, one half being skilling based with the imbue and bake pie and tan leather then having the cures and healing and energy transfer on another. I saw a person spamming the recovery items in castle wars and casting the healing spell to his teammates...I've played healers in many mmos and would love a healing/support based spellbooks rather than a book to keep grinding the same mob over and over again. (healing/support based spellbook would be amazingat clan wars or multi-wildy. It would promote people using teamwork and using multi for pk again, rather than 1v1 pk only besides clans in remote places)
Supper excited for Zeah and I hope there's plenty of fresh new quests to experience.
being used to many other mmos with 30-50 skills on 3-5 ability bars, EoC's combat wasn't the turnoff for me, it was how easy they made skilling and exp rates. So as long as that doesn't happen again I'm optimistic about new updates.

See you think you're funny and smart but if armor or weapons come out that requires level 75 attack or defense it'll ruin the game. I saw it myself when chaotics came out. You obviously didn't, and that's why you think it's not a bad idea.
No higher than level 75 items in combat, it'll ruin the game.
It'll be a road to disaster all over again, like the road we took which lead to eoc
Eoc sucks
