People keep saying "Money isn't an issue". Do lava's then, you won't need to do Soul or Bloods. But for people who don't use alts and prefer not to, fix the XP rates to where the hourly rates are respectively towards Nature & Death Runecrafting.

So the new devblog edit is much better.

However.

1. Remove the dark essence idea (or allow it to be tradable)

2. Allow abyss runecrafting

3. Reduce the soul rune xp/h (blood xp/h is fine)

You mean above natures, right? They should fix the xp rates of laws and deaths for starters and leave natures for the niche rcing scene that it is post-91. Nats are just level 44 runes. They can't possibly design all future content based on some moneymaking method of medium level rune that's not even the best experience atm.

I'm not going to personally do any of Zeah content unless it's f2p so that's that.

People don't understand that increasing rc xp rates is less bad than increasing, say, cooking or construction xp rates. And increasing XP rates (marginally) is required when releasing new content. (but this is off topic because they don't even increase xp rates with this update. souls/bloods are only geared towards plebscapers who don't powertrain skills)

Yet people act as if increasing rc xp rate is somehow worse than increasing cooking xp rate: it's not.

Whereas increasing rc (non-lava) xp rate closer to mining max xp/h does not ruin rc skill (because is mining ruined skill currently?) increasing some almost or completely ruined skills such as cooking any further will completely destroy the said skills.

What privilege does nature runecrafting and runecrafting in general have among all 23 osrs skills? Why is every other skill devalued and hacked to pieces but one skill is kept? Let me remind that the reason why xp rates are increased at all is to please the majority of the scapers.

If anything they should increase rc xp rates and kick it off the pretentious spot it has been left for all these years with its comparatively low APM methods. (yet still it's over 60k xp/h and buyable skill (with runners) atm but people act as if those things dont exist)

Bloody Hell yes!

I haven't bothered reading the gumpf: the title was enough.

Edit and having now read the thread and (mistakenly) deciding to read others' comments - see below - I have to say that what is proposed is very good and I wouldn't change a thing. This does actually give players what they want assuming they actually do want to have to work for things, have goals, visit the new continent and not PVM all the time (which you can do for better gains anyway).

Would be nice if more people could see it from either a larger perspective or one that wasn't their own.

Have now just read pages one and a half of this thread.

Question from one person: Can we use the abyss - answered in the OP O_o

A comment: soul runes have no use currently - also addressed in the OP.

Wonder if I should bother looking for the intelligent comments ... .

How many of you lot can actually read? :@

Edit: going to leave this thread; it's depressing what the player base seems to be like. It used to be better than RS3; have they all come over?

Too high. Should less xp than abyss natures for the money you'll make with it. Maybe in-line with Abyss or *slightly* higher depending on how much effort is put into it.

Natrure runecrafting is not runecrafting training method. It's moneymaking method. Just like GWD is not ranged training method even though you get ranged XP in there.

These new altars will be combination of moneymaking and training and they will fill the gap between lava runes and nature runes.

Runecrafting's purpose is to make money.

No. Runecrafting's purpose is to craft runes. If you want to sell them, then you can make money.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->please answer my question<--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I seen on a q&a livestream they were going to make open world bosses in zeah, im so glad jagex listened to this suggestion, it would be so cool to see open world bosses and people fighting over loot,it would be some intense battles.

is it possible the next boss that's released or even just sometime before we see zeah open world bosses that can we can see atleast 1 open world boss on normal runescape map this would be so cool, definitely make some community hype.

it would probably need to be really high level and offer some good rewards for a open world boss.when I say open world I mean a boss that is outside for the most part and that isn't in a dangerous area atleast mostly, even though there is wilderness open world bosses it is still in a dangerous area.what im talking about is bosses that are open to the public that are mostly in safe areas that most players can get to.Thats not hid down in a cave/big requirements just to get to etc.
