Hello I feel the runecrafting Perk is useless this is why.


Most runecrafters with 99, use Abyss due to it's the fastest when crafting most runes.
Which requires no tiara so giving a perk which lets everyone go into altars without a tiara is pretty pointless.

I suggest a different perk for runecrafting.

After all it's one of the hardest capes to achieve.

For mining cape:
- Chance to find dragonstones and onyxes from rocks
(- Chance to find gems from all rocks, including essence, granite and sandstone)

Just a side note: finding a gem should give mining XP according to the gem found.

Tweeted about this once before, but, make it so the FM cape drops a free fire with the timer of magic logs and can't be used again until the fire goes out, no EXP rewarded.

However, I do like the idea of it acting as a light source too but it doesn't seem like anyone would ever have a reason to use it at all.

Love the idea overall though.

For if the maxcape comes out i think i have some suggestions on how it should look.

How about that all of the skillsymbols would be on it in the form of a circle you guys think it would look good? Or something like an infinite symbol on it?

And for the fletchingcape would it be an idea if it maybe acted as a knife? So you wouldn't need to have one to fletch (could be really usefull if you are woodcutting)

For the Herblorecape maybe it could provide a single item that wouldn't really hurt the economy such as an eye of newt. I am not really into Herblore so this is the best i can think of.

I hope you take this suggestions into consideration cause i think it maybe good.

I'll be voting no until you require an item to be used with each of the capes to give it this ability.

99 Ranged = ava's accumulator. Even though you haven't done the quest?

Add a holy wrench to the prayer cape, add the magic secateurs to the farming cape, add the accumulator to the ranged cape.. little things like this so you aren't completely devaluing quests and other things.

We are talking about lvl 99s which takes miles more time effort and money then completing a small quest does. But who even has 99range without doing the quest for Ava? And i think they would also have made it you need to do the quest for those certain effects anyway, i would of thought that was automatic so did*"t really need to be stated.

They didn't state this at all so you're being optimistic. I know pures who have 99 Ranged and 1 prayer so they can't get the ava's accumulator. Same with Holy Wrench, Secateurs etc.

Let's be careful and not assume our mods know what is best as they've so often failed us.

I'm not much looking forward to having to keep 23 capes in my bank, so please give the max cape all perks :) .

Please remove the 5% boost to herb farming. This shifts the price between seed and herb ever so slightly, in turn mostly decreasing the profits of a farming with say 93 farming. As there already is a small difference, I don't think this would help make farming an enjoyable skill for lower levels. On top of that, we already have the diary multiplier for catherby and to lesser extent the magic secrateurs effectively doing this.

What about 1 teleport to the trollheim patch a day? Or perhaps even the harmony island patch, but I'd rather see the journey there improved in a permanent manner.

PS sailing is a minigame. (You just had to put it in your post as well ;) )

PPS requiring a quest item to get the effect seems like a requirement to not have people gain 'unfair' advantages. Considering previous updates I'm sure this was your plan, however may be wise to state it clearly.

PPPS considering rapid heal and regen. bracelet add additively, it's safe to have them stack with the HP cape. Granted you don't suddenly start multiplying things.

Runecrafting cape gives 3 teleports to the dark mage.
Herblore cape a chance of saving a 2nd ingredient
Fletching cape chance of a quicker action.
Smithing no hammer required when weilding the cape.
Farming 3 teleports to troll patch/harmony island.
