Sounds neat skilling capes are kind of useless....on another subject (Sailing) I don't think it's fair sailing got like 68% in the poll it was close to being added anyway maybe it didn't pass because of all the content that was connected to it alot of people are worried about the game changing to much and becoming like rs3 but that's just my imput personally next time you add a skill don't try and add in so many new items with it just look at artisan it failed cause there was so many new things added anyway.....I still hope sailing will come.....

First of all great idea on skill cape perks! Just a few suggestions on what a few could be. Mainly with the combat skills since they are combat they should have combat perks each with particular drawbacks which only occur in pvp.

Defence: Fortress Buff" Reduces all incoming damage from monsters by 3 or 5 and players by 1 or 2. Does not reduce damage when vsing a player with an attack cape. (Drawback) slightly reduced attack.

Strength: Berserker Buff: Add +1 or +2 as a seperate instance of damage to every successful hit but you can still hit 0's. (Drawback) slightly reduced accuracy.

Attack: Duelist Buff: Never hit a 0 vsing a defence cape you can hit 0's. (Drawback) slightly reduced strength.

Range: Ignore 10% of monsters defence's and 5% in pvp. (Drawback) slightly slower attack speed.

Magic: spell damage cause an extra 5 damage over 5 seconds which doesn't stack but does refresh.(Drawback) splashing cause's the damage overtime to backfire onto the caster.

Hit points: upon taking lethal damage revive after 3 seconds with half health once per day. (Drawback) does not work in pvp.

Farming: Collect residue from the cape with a vial once per day which allows instant growth of a herb patch which does or does not provide xp.

Will think of more later.

Each of these can be changed but the concept remains the same, drawbacks could be removed and just the buff left in place.

In some ways this might not really apply to the skillcapes, but abilities and untradeable items at 99 would be Kool. Examples: smithing; untradeable armor, agility; faster running, construction; unique house styles, cooking; untradeable foods, ect. Notice a theme hehehehehehehehehe :P Clan "user name": Ms Scooby Do

I'm positive this has probably already been said, but for fishing, why not just a teleport to the Fishing Guild? It's probably not the best or most convenient spot to teleport to; but I'm sure there have been times where people have needed to be or go somewhere in that general area where a Fishing Guild teleport would be more beneficiary than an Ardougne or Camelot teleport.

If not the teleport, you could also possibly consider the addition of occasionally catching another fish, similar to the mining cape perk. Or if you want to be creative, you could make it so you have a chance of catching a shark biting on the end of whatever your fishing for's tail, so you get both the fish you're fishing for, as well as a shark.

I just agree that the 100 fishing boost is a bit weak compared to some of the other capes.

: Stamina Restore 2x usual rate

Construction
: Acts as a tool belt holding Saw(normal) and Hammer

Cooking
: Unable to burn any food

Crafting
: Persuades Ellis the Tanner to tan the hides at a cheaper price

Farming
: NPC Farmers will now remove / cut down trees for free

Firemaking
: Can hold firelighters (1 per charge) and instantly change the color of the logs you light on fire

Fishing
: 10% Chance to catch 2 fish at once

Fletching
: Chance to make more arrow shafts from logs and chance to save on feathers while making arrows

Herblore
: 10% Chance to make a complete potion to have (4) doses

Hunter
: Better than spottier cape with Red Chin Teleport

Magic
: 5% Chance to double cast the same spell consuming runes and hitting 20% of the spells damage it hit for and granting no extra exp

Mining
: Chance to save coal when smelting

Prayer
: Restores 5 prayer points over 10 seconds after taking a sip of prayer potion

Ranged
: 5% Chance to cause your arrow to cause a critical strike causing a bleed of 10 damage over 20 seconds

Runecrafting
: Crafts all essence at once, even inside the rune pouches

Slayer
: Can ask for a copy of the slayer task you have just done, (limited to 2 a day)

Smithing
: Builds up a "Special" bar to instantly smith one item (recharges like once every 20mins?)

Thieving
: Less likely to get caught

Woodcutting
: can access Tai Bwo Mahogany Tree area for free
