The sailing cape looks sick, too bad it didn't pass. Really like the these perks, makes skillcapes a little more useful besides fashionscape :) well done jagex Runescape player since 2006. I'm 20 y/o. I live in the Netherlands, I also play League of Legends sometimes.

Runecrafting Skillcape

This is a very time consuming cape and I feel the perks should definitely illustrate it.

Some of my perk ideas:

1) Hood can act as a pouch, hold say 15? Giant and small combine.

2) Immune to Snare/Entangled OR Teleblock (Up to say 10 Wild, no use after the Mage) I would love to give us somewhat of a chance against the Runecraft player-killers as you can't evade when you are teleblocked AND entangled. With the ability to stop one this will give us some what of a chance.

3) Cape could act as a "tool belt" and would be able to store the Abyss items inside: axe, pickaxe, tinder box etc.

4) A running bonus of some sort would be nice as you're always on the go. Say, use 10-15% less run energy when wearing your cape.

Eliminate the Skull when entering the abyss/Pouches not able to degrade - Saw these a lot in the thread, really like the suggestions.

Cheers,

Here are my thoughts on each cape. If I put "Good" next to a skill it means I'm happy with the idea in the original post.

The melee skills are hard. If this suggestion does not work, the Warrior's guild teles work but are lame.

Attack - The cape boosts you to (108 - 115?) attack and does not stack with Super attack potions and similar buffs. So it's not BiS but is convenient and saves on potions.

Strength - The cape boosts you to (108 - 115?) strength and does not stack with Super strength potions and similar buffs. So it's not BiS but is convenient and saves on potions.

Defense - Good

Ranged - Good

Prayer - Good

Magic - Good

Hitpoints - Good

Runecrafting - Essence pouches do not degrade.

Construction - Good

Agility - Good

Herblore - Increased rate of performing herblore actions. (5%?) So that you finish each inventory of supplies faster.

Thieving - Good

Crafting - Good

Fletching - Increased rate of performing fletching actions. (5%?) So that you finish each inventory of supplies faster.

Slayer - Good

Hunter - Good

Mining - Good

Smithing - Increased rate of performing smithing actions. (5%?) So that you finish each inventory of supplies faster.

Fishing - Good if it stacks with fishing boosting potions/food.

Cooking - Good

Firemaking - Good

Woodcutting - Good

Farming - Good

Ok, this is for the JMODs i hope you're still reading posts and looking for suggestions.
I think i'm up with a nice idea for the Herblore cape that the current idea is not good enough on its own and it goes like this.
Beside geting a Pestle and Mortar when searching the cape a Player will also get a vial of water BUT only in a rare cases when searching the cape too much to have a tiny impact on XP.
this because sometimes while combat you maybe notice you have ingredients in your inventory and want to make a potion that will help you in a fight.
you should make the Vial of water find slow enough in a way that going to the bank getting it will be faster.
A player will not go to the bank leaving the combat area for getting a vial (we all know how bad feeling is going to bank middle combat training) and will rather search the cape even if it takes longer than going to bank to find the Vial for making the potion.
Every time we finish off a monster we will use that small time for searching the cape to attempt getting vial before we attack the next one until we get a Vial of water.
If you are worried that Players will start dropping Pestle and Mortar too much for attempting to find the Vial, just make it that when you search the cape a popup message in chat will say you have found a Pestle and Mortar/Vial of water do you wish to take it? and two options of Yes. or No.
this minor suggestion will be rarely used in game but will be used in some cases and thats what make it good.

I like the idea of the defence cape having the first hit of each monster being a 0, most people shame those who use a ring of life while pvming so it would be a wasted perk.

Ranged: ava's forsure

Attack: special regen at a faster speed or a number of charges to use to regen spec (not usable for pvp)

Prayer: when worn it would allow pray to regen the same way hp regenerates at 1 per min, this would be a very small passive effect that would add up slightly over time to be a nice little perk.
