"Fletching I really think shouldnt make it faster...I mean it'll annoy people like "sack" who had to do 200M fletching at a very slow speed."

I really hate this argument, at the end of the day this person you speak of chose to get this skill to 200m, he wasnt forced, a skills progress cannot be halted just because of a few players achievments, it's literally like saying "x got 200m cooking with shrimps so don't add anything faster or it's not fair." The game has to evolve.

First of all, let me start by saying I find it very unfortunate the Sailing skill did not make it pass the 75% threshold. The fresh ideas, much needed new content and activities would have greatly improved the game. Since you guys (the mods) invested so much time and effort into it, my suggestion would be to further improve the already existing ideas by tweaking it where needed. I am very sure that the reworked Sailing skill will pass the 75% threshold in a re-poll. With help & suggestions from the community and additional changes made, I am positive an overwhelming majority of our community will vote yes. It would be such a huge shame to just leave it hanging there, especially since the poll was a mere 7% short of the 75% threshold.

As for the Skilling cape perks, here are my personal suggestions:

Fishing cape: the ability to wield your rod and other fishing tools. This not only frees up one inventory space, but it will look very cool to wield, especially in combination with the newly released Angler fishing outfit. If axes and pickaxes can be wielded, then why not your fishing gear?

Firemaking cape: the ability to burn logs in your inventory by just right-clicking on it, without the need for a tinderbox. The reasoning behind this is that it likewise frees up one precious inventory space as well as making Firemaking slightly more enjoyable to further train after level 99 is reached. Firemaking being one of those fast skills players train even after level 99 for ranks and even 200M experience, the one extra inventory slot would make it much more enjoyable.

Smithing cape: the ability to wield your hammer. This frees up one extra, very important inventory slot. How many times we all have faced the situation in which we were smithing something and came short just 1 more metal bar to smith one more additional piece of armour/weapon every full inventory? This can add up quite a lot.

BTW: the Sailing cape looks amazing with the rudder! :)

NO support.
1) ring of life for def OP
2) cooking cape *P, will ruin economy/allow skillers to not burn (i believe gaunts req cmb stats)
3) these should and have always been Purely cosmetic capes showing off that you have achieved 99 in that skill.

Do not do this. This is coming from a max player in RS3 and planning on maxing in 07 (in a few years lol)

Ring of life OP? I struggle to see this as literally everywhere you are in combat it's much better to have a Berserker ring or something alike, if anything ring of life would be a hindrance. They haven't always been purely cosmetic, so that's straight up wrong, but I take the opinion on board.

Max RS3 means what these days? :L

just a few more ideas, could be good or bad idk, just ideas:

Strength cape
: +4 strength bonus, same as the Fire cape, except it will lack the attack bonus of the Fire cape. (or maybe just +3 strength bonus)

Thieving cape
: If you're stunned from a failed pickpocket, the time that you are stunned is reduced slightly. The 10% better chance of pickpocketing also remains.

Construction cape : The butler payments are reduced slightly.

I think it makes more sense to have the Hitpoints cape act as a permanent ring of life versus having it as the Defence cape.

For the Defence cape, since def pots are pretty worthless by themselves anyway, have it act as a super def boost you can use every 5 mins. In essence it's like the super str boost you get using the Dragon Battleaxe spec, which I think is every 5 mins.

Hope my idea helps. :)

EDIT: The ring of life effect does seem a little OP, but this is why it should be on the HP cape even more so versus the Def cape. In theory 99 HP takes 3x longer than 99 in Atk, Str, or Def.

Cape as ring of life... really? did you read OP?

Rings of life are currently very cheap because DKS (namely Rex being camped) and this would literally make them alch price

edit: sorry, if you can't do fire cape then they have a use, but once you get FC you don't use Skill Capes. In RS3 skillcapes give hybrid attack strength (makes you hit harder) do you REALLY wanna go on a similar path as RS3?

These should remain purely cosmetic (to those that CAN get a fc)

What about the Quest Cape? The cape requires a lot of time and effort to get, and is definitely on par with a skillcape; if not included with the bunch. Why is the Quest Cape not on the list? I vote that it should be and I feel many others who took plenty of time to get the Quest Cape would feel the same way.
