The whole point of this update is to make it possible to wear skillcapes without losing efficiency/benefits. As suggested many times before, it would be alot better in my opinion if we could just combine any cape which we own with a skillcape, limited to 1 cape slot item at a time.
This way you could use any skillcape for any activity without wasting time. You've already earned the item you are combining the skillcape with so it doesn't make it any more overpowered. If you attach a different cape slot item to the skillcape, the combined skillcape should have only the stats of the item combined with it, not the original stats of the skillcape as well.

BTW, in this thread you stated if the sailing skill had passed. You make it sound like the sailing skill poll failed, but it passed . you guys are still going ahead with the skill, right? or do our votes mean nothing to you?




I really like the skulling idea for the runecrafting cape don't see anything wrong with that
