What about the Quest Cape? The cape requires a lot of time and effort to get, and is definitely on par with a skillcape; if not included with the bunch. Why is the Quest Cape not on the list? I vote that it should be and I feel many others who took plenty of time to get the Quest Cape would feel the same way.

trust me QP Cape isn't a skill cape, it will never be treated as one. Back in '06 I begged and begged for a trimmed version, now in RS3 they finally maybe have one? But we are lucky to get QP Cape with stats. but hey, give a suggestion to what it would do, maybe OSRS team will take it in

(I do not support any of this update)

Ring of life OP? I struggle to see this as literally everywhere you are in combat it's much better to have a Berserker ring or something alike, if anything ring of life would be a hindrance. They haven't always been purely cosmetic, so that's straight up wrong, but I take the opinion on board.

Max RS3 means what these days? :L

Cape as ring of life... really? did you read OP?

Rings of life are currently very cheap because DKS (namely Rex being camped) and this would literally make them alch price

edit: sorry, if you can't do fire cape then they have a use, but once you get FC you don't use Skill Capes. In RS3 skillcapes give hybrid attack strength (makes you hit harder) do you REALLY wanna go on a similar path as RS3?

These should remain purely cosmetic (to those that CAN get a fc)

These are Skillcape perks though, quest cape isnt a skillcape. Also, what kind of perks do you think a Quest cape should have?

maybe teleports to quest locations, such as fally castle, cammy castle (inside), ardy castle (next to king), lletya teleports, maybe an enchanted lyre teleport. Make it like the teleport cape to strive for haha

(again I do not want skillcapes or QP Cape to have uses... but if skillcapes do QP Cape should)

@os vit (your name censors, that's a sign)
please look up a proper use of Kappa. as you have truly failed to use the term/face in any intelligible way.

Attack

5% melee accuracy boost

Strength

5% melee strength increase

Firecape would still be better, so no balance issue presented here.

Magic

Once a day spellbook swap doesn't seem to have much use. Perhaps a 5% mage damage boost would be better? I'm normally against more damage boosts, but 99 mage does need more of a use and this would provide that.

Having lower mage attack compared to the god capes would balance it.

Smithing

Those with 99smithing will have no use for the xp boost from the gauntlet effect unless they're going for higher rank. How about changing it to where there's a small chance that less ore will be used during smelting/less bars during smithing instead?

I'm unable to think of anything better for fletching/herblore and the others are good as they are.
OSRS Mage Tank.

Believe magic to only be for support? Think again. It's just as valid of a Pking style as melee and range is.

99 Construction - ability to not have to re-light burners in ur own POH as long as you are in your POH.

99 Farming - no diseased or dead herb patches. -or- ability to refill empty vials instantly with water once per day up to 1k vials, or trade NPC Firecape seller 1k unfilled for filled per day.

99 Fishing - 5 teleports per day to fishing guild.

99 Crafting - access to the bank in the crafting guild.

99 Thieving - access to any locked doors without having to have keys and access to any entrance that requires special equipment such as entrance to Dagonnot* Kings(ie: no rune axes needed).

Maybe in the future, I was gonna say it could give unlimited teles to maybe NMZ but forgot that exists with the minigame tele already. We could go as far as having even the Achievement Cape have all the effects of achievement gear simultaneously.

I forgot to mention in my other post that I am for having the Max Cape having all benefits simultaneously as I'll tell you one simple reason why. Nobody is going to want to wear a Skillcape when their Max Cape is sitting in the bank. The Max Cape is meant to be a super Skillcape representing an achievement, same as any skillcape goes.

Same goes for the Comp Cape if that ever gets polled. Comp Cape should have all Skillcape benefits + Achievement Diary benefits (assuming they add them for my idea).

I think this is a great idea. Would raise my interest in actually acheiving a cape.
I have a good idea for the herblore. Make that two.
If you have full inventory of 3 dozages. You could somehow make the player "correct" them all into fours. Then there's the obvious one. Slight chance of duplicating a potion when made.

Also another one.. if anything... be it a cape or not.. would make the player able to kick some of these randoms in the rear end. I would be so happy.
Although this is off topic. We need this.

-edit
I've got it! A royal cape. Given to you by the people of Miscellenea. After saving them.. Or proving your worthiness.
"Silence bumblebee man, you are amongst royalty" ...Then he punts them away.

All for comical purposes of course. Still might mean much to many.
Seriously that is quite an idea.
