I love the idea of the of the last 2, I think the kraken tentacle would make the whip crash, be incredibley overpowered and be too much like RS3, I love the idea of the staff and the necklace however! I like the sound of a new melee weapon i'd love that, but just not that one! But it wouldn't be too bothered if all 3 were added! -Thanks! :)

Requiring 75 attack to wield, the abyssal tentacle has +8 Slash & +4 Strength more than an abyssal whip, equating to 1 extra damage, it also has a chance to poison your opponent for 4 damage.

Whoever told you that +4 str bonus is equivalent to 1 extra damage didn't tell you the whole truth. I assume that when you say 1 extra damage, you mean to max hit, but even that's not the case. If that were true, then godswords (without spec) could hit for 33 damage (without any other strength bonus) higher than a player's unarmed damage, and that's not the case.

You should know how max hit is calculated, as follows.

m =( 5+(8+s*(1+p)+a)*(1+w/64)*(1+x))/10
where
m = max hit
s = strength skill, after applied boosts and penalties from potions and the like.
p = % strength boost from prayer, such as .15 from ultimate strength
a = strength bonus from combat stance, which is +3 in aggressive stance, +1 in controlled stance, and +0 in accurate or defensive stances.
w = equipment strength bonus, from weapon and other equipment.
x = % damage boost from special attack and/or damage boosting items, such as the black mask, which boosts damage by 16.66%

Analyze this formula for a little bit, and it's easy to tell that there is no constant str bonus to max hit ratio. In other words, you can't say that every 4 bonus strength points (from equipment) equates to 1 increase in damage, or even max hit.

This is only true for players with 99 str, using super strength potions and piety in digressive stance, and even then, it's not quite a 1:4 ratio. The ratio scales with your strength level (after potions and prayers and stance). The higher your strength level, the more you benefit from strength bonus. A Character with 99 strength, using no boosts, gets increased max hit per str bonus at a ratio of about 1:6, while a character with level 80 strength only gets a ratio of about 1:7.5, and a character with 60 strength only gets about 1:10 and so on.
