Don't get me wrong, I love these ideas. But as someone with 99 slayer, that continues to slay, I feel that these drops aren't sufficient enough. I mean cool, there's a whip sink, but there could be soooo much more with this update. I just feel that the slayer update could and SHOULD be so much better, and we shouldn't be content with the little amount that is being added.

I mean, for a level 93 slayer requirement, there should be some awesome stuff coming in the game. Not just a smoke battlestaff, and a 10% magic damage boost on a necklace. This update can be sooo much better.

totally agreed but tell that to thos bums at jagex HQ who say they listen to us players but infact are just adding the stuff THEY want. i've seen so many awesome ideas on the forums but no mods look at it, they only add ******* fedoras and mini chaos elements. and correct me if im wrong but i never saw a poll for 100k xp/hour afk minigame. did you?

power to the players? dont make me laugh plis.

I feel like the questions for the poll are almost dishonestly vague. It basically requires the voter to go out of their way to read about it on the forums, and I'd bet that a big chunk of the voters won't do that. If we're actually going to be adding these unnecessarily powerful items then the poll questions should be explicitly clear as to what the items are and what they do.

Question: Should the kraken boss and the cave kraken drop the kraken tentacle as described in the New Slayer Drops developer blog?

Should be

Question: Should the kraken boss and the cave kraken drop the kraken tentacle, an add-on to the Abyssal Whip requiring 75 attack to wield and adds an additional +8 Slash & +4 Strength to it. Its special attack consumes 50% of the spec bar and it will bind an opponent for 5 seconds as well as increase your chance of poisoning them. After 10,000 hits, it consumes the whip component leaving you with the Kraken tentacle.

Also,

Question: Should the smoke devil and the smoke devil boss drop the occult necklace as described in the New Slayer Drops developer blog?

Should be

Question: Should the smoke devil and the smoke devil boss drop the occult necklace, a new magical amulet that increases your magic damage by 10% and stacks with existing boosts? It will have a magic attack of 12 and prayer bonus of 2 and will require 70 magic to wield.

*.B: A combination of the Occult Necklace & Sot* when barraging would take the max hit to 37.

I love Old School, but I'm disappointed and frustrated with the way you guys have been handling the updates and polls. I don't think you have much regard for the implications of updates such as these on the game, specifically Pking. At the very least, you could have made these items usable only against NPCs. If not, please be very clear in the poll questions.

Human ignorance ruins this game again

but is that really surprising

nope

dude take your philosophy and place it where the sun don't shine, don't you realize half the people here can't read more than 1 sentence without getting bored or distracted?

No Whip, No Necklace. You're going to kill this game just like you managed to murder RS3.

We don't want OP Weapons/Items, especially ones that degrade! Keep all of the unreasonably overpowered items/weapons in RS3, along with the degrading armors/weapons/items. You're just making the game worse.

Why not try adding something with more use instead of more power? It seems pretty logical to me. I like the idea of a Tentacle Whip and getting the Tentacle as a drop, but it should not make the weapon stronger, nor should it make the weapon degrade.

What you should do with it, is it make it so that adding the Tentacle to the Whip, only gives it the ability to train strength . The demand would be still be high (if not higher than what is currently proposed), it would not be overpowered, it would not degrade, and it would have a pretty good impact on the game.

It should however, require something like 75 Slayer to add the Tentacle to the Whip in order to keep it as a great slayer reward.

What I'm trying to say overall, is stop trying to introduce OVERPOWERED Weapons/Items, and instead introduce USEFUL Weapons/Items. Please.
