I don't play OSRS because of nostalgia. I play it because its the only GOOD MMORPG on the market to date.
Agreed!
double agreed. And why cant we have a more perma new weapon' ? I am somewhat sure that people hate things that need to be recharged or that break after X uses me being one of them
I play OSRS because RS3 was heading in the wrong direction way before EoC happened. I am not opposed to updates in this game however they must not compromise any existing exp rates or item values.
No OP weapons
No Useless weapons
No super quick methods of skill exp
So long as changes and updates don't kill anything I am not opposed to them. Keep it in the spirit of OSRS and I wont complain.

Let me show you the front page of Old School RuneScape:

Clearly you didnt read...I even copied it from the front page...At least the nostalgia-hungry players...
To ME
, osrs isnt for the nostalgia-hungry players...I see it a different way...
Also if im not mistaken jagex released a poll....
Why do you play Old School rather than RS3?
It has the old combat system 62% (8544 votes)
There is more sense of achievement when you level 8% (1059 votes)
You have control over which updates are made in game 4% (597 votes)
You enjoy playing retro games 1% (121 votes)
You can compete in the hiscores 0% (50 votes)
You prefer the old graphics 5% (734 votes)
It holds a lot of nostalgia for you 16% (2259 votes)
Something else 3% (446 votes)
Clearly the majority of the community play this and wanted this for the combat system and arnt that nostalgia.....
Hell i dont even see half the votes for "it holds a lot of nostalgia for you'' compared to the question about combat...
People need to realize this game isnt for nostalgia...Yes tons of people wanted a vanilla server but the majority of the people that voted for osrs to come back wanted out of the utter EoC combat and didnt care about the time the game was...
It doesnt matter if the player is a 10 year vet or a 2 year player we all have a say and as long as jagex keeps releasing polls that will stick.
How about if people dont want new content tell jagex to poll this...
Should we quit releasing content? (Yes/No)
Im pretty sure it will end up being no.

I think that something you can add to Ahrims robes to boost their melee and mage defence would be nice.
Make something similar to the whip tentacle; add the item that enhances Ahrim's robes, then after the same length of time as barrows degrades over, dispose of the item added to it (not the robes themselves). This will keep that slayer drop in demand.

I'd personally like it more if after 10,000 uses, you stopped gaining all combat and slayer xp. So if it breaks at gwd or something, your trip doesn't have to end.
Tu pray.
You are so right in all your posts.
I will help you by voting no to that update
and all the future big updates that will
kill old school like the ones in rs2.
Im in favour of small updates but not ones like this one.
Keep trying to convince players that do not understand
or accept what you are saying.
Flyline player off and on since 2004.
