I like the ideas but as stated above sometimes, whip should get a strength training option instead of the controlled one, also looking at the Zamorakian hasta which is a shame if you wanna use it for slaying dragons with a 75/99/75 build
just putting it out there, stength only exp is good for us!

The Whip idea i like a lot. i do think the special attack should differ, i would like to see a special attack where a certain amount of damage is caused over a time period for lets say 10 seconds? i think this would be a really cool and unique special attack brought to old school.

- Introduce a ranged necklace that increases damage by 15% but also not usable in PVP or with chinchompas.
Even with these necklaces ranged and magic are still better trained with other efficient ways but gives variety and more fun ways of training, while melee will still be the fastest way to slay.
While it's a shame more people don't post on the official forums for feedback, all these people with 2009-2012 join dates with EoC avatars don't make up the 75% of your community. I doubt the Kraken Tenticle or Occult Necklace will pass and here's why:
Take a look at the recent wilderness adjustment poll. While almost all players agree that certain aspects of the wild rejuvenation needs buffs, it feels like you guys are going about it the wrong way. People don't want better armor and weapons. People were excited for dark crabs because they offered an easier way to get 22 hp food (tuna potatoes) but the drop rates of the bait wasn't good enough. Simply making stuff more powerful isn't the right approach. Even with the boss drops buffed they still aren't worth doing because of how hard they are to kill. Did you guys test them the same way as shown on stream (with gear no one takes in the wild)? Are the other dead aspects of the wild going to be adjusted as well (ents, chaos druids, golems)? Rogues are a fair amount of income, as a result it's an active PK spot.
It's why other games have beta versions of content they want to release. Players are often more crafty at finding bugs and giving proper feedback because they have the time and knowledge of the game, while developers often don't because they're busy doing the actual developing. Overall, the wilderness rejuvenation was a really good effort and thought you guys did well considering the low number of people on the OS team. Haven't had that much fun on RS in a long time the day it was released.

The only updates we see are new monsters and items. Keep piling more overpowered items into the game.. The hitpoints skill only goes so high.
No more strength bonuses in the game added EVER please.
The whip should be 80 attack to begin with and the godswords should be 90 attack.
It's okay, we'll just add new food that heals half your health.Then after we add some more OP items, we'll just increase the amount of hitpoints you have and rename it to Constitution. Then if PKers are still upset, we can just poll yaks, so players can bank there items and they won't have to worry about losing there stuff because of OP weapons. Then we'll just add HD, Dungeoneering, and Lodestones because >50% of people want them!
unfortunately, this seems to be in the direction we are heading

you better not add in this stupid tentacle thing, did one of the JaGex employees kids come up to them with the idea? so damn stupid how you idiots change this game so ridiculously, keep it 07 or prepare to lose half your players again like you did with rs3
Make it so that dragon platebody requires 65 defence (same as bandos chestplate) to wear and give it higher defence bonus than bandos chestplate and 0 strength bonus

Agreed. As long as the OP new whips or necklaces are not PVP items I don't care what stats they have, nor are they in the game or not. Majority of the pkers play 07 because they didn't like all those way overpowered items released pre-eoc. Do not lose them again, probably already lost some due to ags for example.
how about this since the tentacle was apart of a living organism why doesn't it degrade itself with the 5000 hits opposed to the whip degrading and players would now just need to replace the tentacle. Feedback please
