Never give the whip a strength option, EVER.

I feel like we're more forced to use Saradomin Sword the way it is now...Other than that, it has no use including a pointless 100% drain special attack. If anything I would love a Strength option to pass and a re-look into the Saradomin Sword to keep it relevant without forcing it to be so.

I do understand it would upset a few, but the amount of PvM'ers and PvP'ers it would please by adding a Strength option; would outweigh the negatives!

I'd support the idea of a 3 tier system over a degradeable weapon.
Feed 1 whip for tier 1, 2 for tier 2 and 3 for tier 3.
tier 1: +2 str +4 slash (requires 70 att to wear, like the normal whip)
tier 2: +4 str +8 slash (requires 75 att to wear)
tier 3: +6 str +12 slash (requires 80 att to wear)

To keep a whip item sink it could drop a tier when you die and have to feed it another whip to get it to the tier it had before. Even if you protect it.(in both pvp and pvm) In wildy it could give your killer a small cash reward, something like 60k. (full drop if your poppenent doesn't protect it. The full drop of a T3 tentacle whip would be 3 abyssal whips and a tentacle.)

To keep an item sink for the tentacle, it could only be fed up to 6 whips before it disappears.
You use 3 to get a T3 tentacle whip, you die and lose a tier. You up the tier again with a whip and have 2 times left to up it's tier to the max. Once you've upped it and you die with it AGAIN it'll turn to dust,

Also, to not completely trash the saradomin sword, it should not be able to train str like a normal whip.

The current version in the dev blog about the tentacle won't recieve my yes vote.

Um no. Just no. Killing off the SS is in itself a bigger negative than being able to train str with the whip.

Strength is fine as it is with the D scim, SOT* and the Sara Sword. I really would not like to see content made useless when there is already multiple alternatives.

Also can you make all of your bh vids public again at some point? I feel like having a seizure Nostalgia trip.

I think that this would be decent if the kraken whip degrade just in pvp after hitting 5000 time players so it doesn't affect pvp alot. The whip should not degrade when killing monsters thats my point. The rest is all good that staff will be interesting!

Adding a minor upgraded whip, would not ruin PvP. If that is a concern it would be wise to poll higher tier armors and consumables (food) to restore more than the leading food items. Progressing is NOT ruining the game.

Even HP rising armors would be ok. If they weren't turned into god like Nex sets with superior stats, overly raised hp bonus, and prayer. Moderation.
