I think adding a Smoke battlestaff is a VERY bad idea. It would kill the price of air and fire runes to the point where they were pretty much worthless, meaning there would be no money made from Air or Fire runecrafting. It would pretty much also allow anyone to cast the highest spell without needing any other runes other than blood runes.

Just think about what you're adding into the game first, you are adding something that should not exist in the old game. Unless this staff is going to be incredible expensive to buy, it is a very bad idea to add it.

EDIT: I think if the staff was degradable, and after a certain amount of casts (maybe 2500) it disintegrated into nothing (Maybe it burned to ash after 2500 casts and becomes ashes in your inventory)

Did you just suggest a ship's mast pole as a weapon? Do you have any idea how big those are lol. Then again, we do use whole sharks for food...


It'd be epic tho ^^ they are quite tall, but they can work some of that Hollywood-Magic on it. And i can see a Kraken carrying a spare mast around hahaha.. Why not

support amulet, we need it for mage boost since we dont have augury thanks to backward thinking losers -.-

i support the staff idea 100% fire runes are always at an alltime low thnx to fleshies and other means,, i mean it cant go lower, lol, so introducing this staff will do nothing to it and air runes.. which is another common item. as some of the naysayers will rant on, just ignore them, they trying to keep back our progress

but... on the abby whip idea, i dont fully support for only 8 and 4 extra... not worth the waste, to spend so much money on a whip to have it eventually degrade for those bonuses is not really fair to players who would want to experience that content. we need NOT do like EOC and test everything under the assumption of max gear, and max stats, thats absurd, more than half of the community is not uber rich enough to sacrifice whips for those measly bonuses. so i say increase it a bit, including the poison damage, and the bind possibly( just test to make sure not OP) and then decrease the hits back to 5,000. the main thing you want to ensure is that people get VALUE for their money... and avoid item inflation and deflation...

There is no point in making the vine whip have a strength option considering the vine whip requires 80 slayer to use anyway. If you aren't around 90+ strength by the time you are 80 slayer you probably don't have a pking account. Most pures don't have high slayer because they camp nmz.

This is false, if the Kraken Tentacle is released it will likely have no Slayer level to attach/wield it. If so, it would highly promote Slayer training to several players game-wide, including myself. The Strength style option will be useful 1 Strength or 99, some accounts are made to be restricted and Shared XP devalues the account. I have a 60/99 that would happily go 75 attack for this! I would also train any Slayer level at any hourly cost :D
