This sounds so freaking awesome. I am stoked. I am going to be extremely bummed if this skill does not pass.

I still don't see why people would vote 'no' (as long as the skill is balanced and it is demonstrated that it won't adversely affect the game economy or do things like make planks rise in price by intense amounts) and ruin it for those of us who do want the skill.

and I do agree about switching burgh de rott with something that looks a bit prettier. A run-down place like burgh de rott would make sense with being associated with lower levels.

Objection!

first of all, they should look at the requirements needed to access said ports. port tyras takes many more longer and more difficult quests than the port at burgh de rott does, yet port tyras is suggested at lvl 50 and burgh de rott at lvl 90? where's the logic in that?

also, sailing is how it has been called for a long time, ever since it was announced as an april fool's joke. to even give this new skill a chance it should get a real name, one that fits in with other skill's names, something like navigation

last, don't use that scurvy sail boat image that you anounced the skill with on april fool's or even an updated version, use an anchor or something. the boat would just end up looking stupid on skill capes and in the lvl tab in general.

total agreement specially with the first one.

to add up, im still waiting that this skill might answer the mystery of piece of parchment received from olaf's quest (it tells about treasures of lost ships).
