I love how the dev team is basically opening up the eastern lands and so many players are bashing the route they are trying to take in order to do so.

can't wait for the poll to come out. Just pm me before you rage quit.

IMO one of the most important things to me with any new skill is integration with the rest of the game/world, and I'm very much looking forward to future posts explaining how exactly sailing can be implemented in a way which doesn't feel haphazardly "glued on".

It could be great, or it could be awful.

I hope it's implemented very differently from poorly integrated parts of RS3, such as dungeoneering or player owned ports.

None of this "new skill can only be used inside the magic portal" rubbish.

LolSailing. Jagex please quit giving excuses to why you won't release Dungeoneering or Summoning to OSRS because you want to take OSRS on its own unique path, tbh the only unique path osrs is on is that it doesn't have MTX yet.. Keyword yet. I understand the reasoning behind summoning but to sit and blast Dungeoneering because of chaotic weaponry.. The skill it's self is amazingly fun, brings the community together in a skill, for those who want to be anti-social make the solo rates decent. However, to claim the rewards as the basis of not bringing in an amazing skill that's just stupid, you can always make new unique interesting rewards that are not "RS3 copy cat."

If you weren't copying the path of RS3 on heaps of things then why is there a Corporeal Beast, GWD, and the Grand Exchange. #Stopcateringtothecasuals.

yeah i agree @send backup mod ronan should have not said '''we cant release dungeoneering because chaotics''' thats very naive talk and he still lacking experience.

The game needs massive push but if you keep bringing out ideas like Sailing im sure by the end of October we will lose quite alot of players(mostly pvmers and pvpers.)

Sailing is providing the new expensive crazy CAR habbit you have or something because clearly getting pushed out too fast and I have been on 12 hours a day just eyeing this damn sailing dev blogs, put an extra 500 work hours un paid (so at the office un paid) and work your normal hours on what you need to do, release the content preview for a yes or no vote over a year and I'm sure not even 70% will vote yes, and that's with most of the people voting yes voting yes just do ruin osrs.

Sailing has been something I have wanted in the game for so long and now I am going to vote no because you are going to fail at implementing it.

There is this thread which literally completely lays the skill out top to bottom and it sounds amazing and fun to train, not "a grind". Please Jagex read it and stop with this other nonsense.

Click here to read a good version of the sailing

Her version is actually good, and will be an amazing addition to the game.

To be honest, I would prefer summoning. Dungeoneering not so much, but I wouldn't mind it. As long as the End of Combat update never happens in oldschool runescape, I'm happy :) Looking forward to the addition to augury and rigour :D
