On these 2 blogs I actully didn't see anyone giving 1 good reason why a new skill shouldn't be introduced in osrs. People always hate on new content, then when it gets released they all love it.

Dungeoneering was my favorite skill on RS3, and it's probably the only thing I'd port over if I had the option to do so.

This is the very reason I was so excited to see Sailing. It'll be a skill I'll actually want to grind, if they implement it correctly.

In these 2 blogs I haven't seen enough of a description (or the specifics we were told we'd get early this week) to believe sailing is something worth supporting.

Adding content is what keeps the game fresh, also content can be changed if op/not good.

Don't tell me to charter a ship to train my sailing skill.. wut even?!

Still your reason for not adding sailing = not enough information, which you will also get in the future + will be polled..
That means it's yet ANOTHER bad reason.

EDIT: The salt is so real in this topic it hurts. I don't see why half the people whining play OSRS or RS3 at all if they're not happy.

Then that is the dumb asses fault for not reading the dev blogs. They are there for a reason. If you can't read them, then don't complain about what gets passed and what doesn't. This will come very close to passing, or will pass. A very minority of the community actually go on the forums...Most people who use the forums are just there to complain and whine. Stop basing opinions off of 1 or 2 blogs. Just off the 1st blog, there has been tons of support for it and after tomorrow's blog, even more support will be there.

what scares me more than eoc coming to oldschool is the joke that is the oldschool team. why do you focus so much on memes, such as " god ash" or " bow haircut ronan" and make ' brilliant' crock jokes 95% of the oldschool stream...

and now you want to add an old joke as a skill? well.. thats what this is. an absolute ******* joke to the players that have played for years.

your entire team is a joke and this will never pass a poll.

PLEASE. be more professional about your game and STOP this cringe worthy ********.

focus on the core game, fixing the hundreds and hundreds of updates that clearly need fixing, such as why is nmz still just kbd lair? you have 2 graphic designers now.

focus on your game, make it better. stop the memes.

you annoy me.

Yeah umm.. the flip side of that ugly coin is that those saying 'we want' or 'we need' with regard to sailing or a new skill don't speak for everyone and should also go 'dunk your head in ice water' right?

Nothing more of a joke than the AIDS that the Old School Community is. You want them to focus on what the instance of Nightmare Zone looks like? Who the **** cares. It's time to progress the game. If you want a game of no updates, go play a private server. We don't need you as part of this community,
