First off, to any imbeciles thinking skillers will be mad, they can just build ships and not do combat

Secondly, for pvp haters, not everywhere you sail is pvp....

Thirdly, people are saying it sounds repetitive, it literally says randomly generated seas so it is always a new adventure.

Fourthly, not good rewards??? really??? access to new training locations, new and old monster spawns, hidden underwater caves, mines, and even new bosses.....

Fifthly, what minigame is even close to building a ship, and sailing it with friends to explore islands to skill or kill things. Not any that i know of.

Is anyone of these ignorant complainers reading the dev blog? I cannot wait for the second dev blog to shine more light on the subject. This is a potential huge step forward in adding some great adventure to this game, most of us on old school have memorized the entire world, it hardly is an adventure game anymore.

Pro-tip : If you are going to complain, at least know what you are complaining about guys.

Sailing is just for those who pvp, I want no part of it. Can't say it's for skillers. If you don't have a choice of where you sail, you have no way to keep away from pvp areas. Making it a skill is just feeding players to pvp gamers.

The amount of ignorance in this post is astounding. Please read the Developer's Blog.

PVP of developer blog

Past the dangers of creatures from the deep and heavy waters stands the threat of other players. In the most remote, unexplored areas of sea you can never be sure whether a ship coming towards you will be passing by quietly or coming for your booty.

When heading into dangerous seas you must be equipped to deal with other players trying to take you down and grab what they can. Whether it is a crew of five players or someone completely alone, when you see a ship in the watery wilderness you should be prepared for the fight of your life.

says you can never be sure

"In the most remote, unexplored areas of sea"

The words literally exactly before the part you quoted.

Sinraptor & Poo Wrangler translate what I read in the PVP section.

But none if it matters, I've been playing rs long enough to know, that when a developer has put a lot of work into something, which i'm sure it is a lot of work, however; it doesn't matter what the players want, just look how many ppl left after eoc, another drop in mbrs when rs3 came out, i was glad i could go to osr.

No, Just no. Stop right where you are Jegex. You are slowly turning OSRS into RS3 GE has been bought in, able to "Price Check" Items. It won't be long until we see a HD graphics mode. OSRS is based off 2007 Runescape, lets keep it how it was in 2007. Don't bring out new skills. This sounds so much like Dungeoneering which was never a skill it was a minigame. Dont bring out another mini game skill because that will remind everyone of RS3 and the failure you made with that game. Keep the game how it is and don't make the same mistakes you made in the past which caused players to riot and quit.
