I would say no because I think deadman mode make many players quit because first it seems to be fun but once they die and got their bank accessed and stats lowered they will feeling down and eventually quit.Even if deadman mode isn't released people will not quit so why release it? Just an ordinary guy

So what? They quit DMM and return to their regular account. Seems just like dying as a hardcore ironman you lose all your items.

This is just beyond bad. The first time a change this big was made, Runescape went from 2m players on at a time to the measly 200k leftover**** lost all its players and only barely got some back with OldSchool. We veteran players and many new players are here only to play OldSchool, the OldSchool way without any easy-high-risk money games.

pvp worlds is probably the closest thing we have to this. I think you are exaggerating.

Ronan, I disagree with this mode because I wouldnt personally want to risk my entire bank over 1 person getting killed or killing 1 person. Reason being is because I do not enjoy working to get my stats up or doing the whole getting money back. This is a terrible idea and it might destroy our current pvp system seeing how low it is now might just cut that in half. I might even say some people might quit. This is a very bad idea in my personal opinion. Some people might be acceptable to change but all i know is the last major change jagex put out look at what happened to the players. I was very disappointed in gameplay and caused me to quit for a long time until I heard that OSRS came back out. I think Its a BAD IDEA. This could go well for you guys thought but I dont see how. DONT DO IT. LEAVE RS ALONE. IF IT WORKS WHY TRY TO FIX IT? acc: rawstin93

THIS IS A TERRIBLE IDEA CONSIDERING THE FACT THAT ALL MY HARD WOULD BE DESTROYED. I DONT HAVE TO PLAY IT SURE BUT WHAT ABOUT THAT OTHERS THAT DO ENJOY IT. UNTIL THEY GET KILLED THEN START COMPLAINING ABOUT THIS ABOUT THAT.
THIS IS A VERY BAD IDEA Deadman Mode will divide our player base further, kill our current PvP, and offer highly punishing mechanics which will ultimately have players quit the game!

Dividing The Player Base:
We have the standard Runescape account and by bastardized popularization we introduced Ironman Mode, and the absurd Ironman Mode. Currently we don't have enough players to fill our worlds, or their content. Zeah is on its way! We can't afford to split our player base further.

Our Current PvP Is In Trouble:
PvP is currently no risk, no reward, and always being ddosed. If you introduce Deadman Mode and people leave our current PvP it will die out. Furthermore, Deadman Mode will become ddosed like current PvP.

Player WILL QUIT:
Let's transition perfectly into the ddos issue. Players will be punished to the point of no sympathy. All of their beloved work will be gone and so will their admiration for this game.
