Lol. Well I personally want to see more dev time spent on at least finishing all the current quest series. Quests are pretty much the only reason I enjoy this game.

But interesting concept. I think this may work better as a minigame like SC. We'll see how it goes.

If deadman mode is put into 2 week sessions it will allow everyone the opportunity to plan and create new and unique strategies that will have everyone excited to see that a new session is about to begin.

***IMPORTANT***
Allow the killer who obtains a key from a victim the chance to ONLY take 28 items out of the victim's bank.

This way whenever someone dies they still have the basic necessities of tools such as pickaxes, hammers, tinderboxes, axes, needle and thread etc. Because if killers have a 1-click option to simply grab everything in a persons bank it will lead to people having to strain really hard for an item that they should be allowed to at least begin their rebuild with.

This will also put some strategy into a killer choosing which items to take from a victim. They will have to find the 28 best items in the bank

The fact that most of the people here even THINK this will transfer over your current stats and items just shows how no one bothers to even carefully read before posting.

This would be an amazing addition and the people that want to play solo afkscape can do so while others like me make a second account to try to survive in the new gamemode.

Lowered world limits should be a must, maybe to 500 or something. Running around with 1999 other players would be too much for anybody to handle, everywhere would be cramped and there'll be an overcrowded killing fest at every mid level monster. An idea I had for the world set-up is, players do not get to choose their world when they log in (Apart from their closest based host), they are instead put in to a world with a set amount of other players and they can only join this server for the rest of their play time. If a player has been offline for a certain amount of time, they will be removed from the world and replaced with an active player (although this could act as world changing). Players can choose whether to join a world with their friends or play solo before creating their character, if they want to play with friends, they should be able to but their current account is reset when changing world. Not sure if any other game has a similar world/server system as this, this was entirely my thinking.

I tend to vote on things that i feel will detract from MY fun and enjoyment of the game, else I would be voting yes to all updates, even if I didn't like the sound of them.

Developer time is not an infinate resource, and if they are working on this then obviously they cannot be working on things I may enjoy more, to make the game better for ME maybe.

I don't pk much and I am not in a clan. However, I am aware that PKers do buy many of the resources I skill for, and less of them would detract from MY rewards.

I would like to have high total level servers instead of deadman ones, so it will be a resounding NO vote from me.

The only things I think you need to clarify in this mode at the moment are.

Are current accounts able to play this mode or is it going to be like an iron man account where you need to create a new account.

Also letting some people now that there is no such thing as hopping to a "safe" world. Dead man mode is challenge of it own to stay alive. Like iron man mode is a change to get everything on your own.

Love the idea so far and think if a clan would get into this they could be a powerful force to be reckoned with :P
Looking for love in all the wrong places

Deadman mode means deadman game. First and foremost, it's too OP. Losing several levels upon death is just both insane and inane. No one wants to go on a complete grind-fest to regain his or her Slayer cape or any Skillcape for that matter for dying on Deadman mode. Also, if I wanted to give a noob access to my bank, I might as well just hand over all my credentials so that he or she can log into my account, which is illegal, rather than dying in Deadman mode, thus yielding the same result. I'm already dealing really damn hard with DC Scape, so does it look like I want to lose my entire bank to a noob who never earned his or her keep because I got DC'd or DDOS'd? Hell no! I'd take my chances AFK'ing in a PVP world skulled with full Third Age and Ely.

Additionally, this would repel players instead of attract them in which OSR already has a limited player base and lacks a significant amount of real veteran players who've actually played back in '07. Hence, this is why this game is slowly turning into RS3 with such updates, such as the same, old GE, and it'll be just another reason to quit RS just like the controversial EOC update.

Not for nothing, maybe, the guards on steroids could stay, but get rid of the seven-level nerf and the loophole to legalized hacking. Although it'd still be harsh, perhaps, only Combat stats could be effected instead of skiller's skills, and then noobs could quit crying over the pointless nerfing of NMZ and base XP from Magic since they'll need to regain those lost Combat levels. As with all PK's, loots would be gained as normal, but players remain permanently skulled on Deadman mode, and there are no safe areas.
