Generally speaking I don't think Deathman mode is worth the developiping time.

Maybe it is better to add a Dungeoneering kinda minigame (world) as alternative.
One where all skills are required, but they are much easier to train than normally. Once an achievement/xp limit is reached you can upgrade your ''Ring of kinship''.

Risks should yield rewards. The high xp rates and gear are not easily obtained.

Pvp will ultimately be the goal and ranks are posted on the website.

It sounds cool, and yet who would really want to play that way? Almost everyone but a few experienced PvP players would feel they have more to lose than to gain.

But there are Hardcore Ironman players, so of course there will be people who love the challenge. And losing levels on death is not an unreasonable consequence for death even in the regular game, as lots of RPGs do cause players to lose experience if they have a character resurrected.

Please don't pass. Vote no. With tournament worlds, and now deadman worlds, this game is starting to feel like its going in the direction of a private server. I would rather have them focusing development on actual OSRS and not all this extra stuff not even related to the game itself. I know tournament worlds are only temporary, but deadman mode won't be, and do you really want the OS team splitting and spending time permanently maintaining & updating deadman content would they could use the time and resources for OSRS? I don't advocate private servers, but what's the point of this when you can find a private server for the same thing....

yea.... I highly doubt all the pekrs want dungeoneering in place of their ultimate risk and reward pvp servers. A for effort my friend.

already confirmed that it won't take much dev time, other than setting some balancing and trading/banking/mule issues. So yea basically up to us as to what we decide is best for them to implement.

Have you ever played other survival games? Cause you won't have as much sentimental hold on your items as you do in the main game. Yes you'll have worked for them, but you'll lose them just as quick. Lol rebuilding is half the fun, especially when everyone else is having to do it with you :D
