The major bottleneck in this Community discussion is that there is no clear view on the purpose of these new weapons. The design is very open-minded and the lack of a clear goal seems to be holding back the Engineering progress.

Ask the following questions for each of the new items:
- Is it intented for PvP or PvM, or both?
- Is it intended for Specs or Dps?

Then compare it with the currently existing weaponry and see how it fares.
- What are the main competitors of this weapon? (then Pros/cons, overpowered yes/no)
- What will it be mainly used for if introduced?(Find applications)

Then ask yourself this:
- Does it justify introduction at all and why exactly?

It could very well be a very nice weapon, but have no purpose but killing current mon(k)ey-making methods. Don't fix it if it ain't broken.

the dagger seem way underpowered for lvl 70 weapon assumeing it takes same req as abby whip, we need to outclass the dds with out going op

It seems they were going for lower damage but higher accuracy (via the "both hits lands or neither do" part). Personally, I do find that to be a unique twist on the DDS special, since the DDS is high potential damage but low accuracy and this is higher accuracy but lower max damage. They really need to better clarify how the hit or miss mechanic works and better state that their goal was to make it a weaker damage but more accurate DDS. I mean, the chance for both to miss doesn't seem justified if the "guaranteed second hit" is always a 1.

I still do think I prefer the original Bleed special, but this one does have the potential to be interesting.

Both special attacks seem particularly underpowered. Especially in a game that already has godswords.

The AGS for example is two handed, like the bludgeon, but has a +132 strength bonus and a special attack that does 37.5% extra damage.
Now I get that the bludgeon is faster, but with only + 85 strength and a maximum bonus of +33% extra damage (at which point you would lose damage boosts from prayer), this design seems pretty lacking to me.

I like the idea of making something cool and new, like a form of damage boosting that relates to prayer - but this just isn't it.

Personally I liked the boost to accuracy - this seemed like it had a use.
