It all looks great. Do the infernal tools really need to degrade? The combat aspect of the game is already falling into degradescape, does the skilling aspect have to as well? If so, then oh well I guess. I'd rather it not though. Anyway, everything looks amazing, but this should be it for slayer, at least for a long time. After this comes out, it's seriously time to focus on other aspects of the game. Not just slayer and bosses.

People are saying that the abyssal dagger is balanced but I have to ask, what would you use it for? I can only see this weapon being used by pures who want to train strength without a sara sword.

Alternatively, mains who want to train strength with a shield/defender may use it in lieu of a Sot*/* scim. However..

Sot* = +70 slash +72 Strength
Abyssal dagger = +75 stab +70 Strength

The weapons are going to be almost identical for dps, the only difference being that the dagger has stab while the staff has crush. Is this enough of a use to ensure consistent demand?

Unless the dagger has a powerful special attack, I don't see it maintaining value long-term.

Yah, I agree. Although the defender does have a higher stab attack bonus, so I think the dagger could end up being better. But it really needs a useful special attack, not necessarily something like the DDS or D Claws, but something, maybe to deal a bit of bonus damage while training, to be useful. Personally, I wouldn't mind it being 75 strength to be on par with the Hasta, but then it may be too powerful of a strength weapon. I almost wish it didn't have strength like the whip and had good stats instead.

if things degrade and needs a replacement item, it keeps demand relatively high (high may be the incorrect word, but higher in terms of what it would have been without a degradation)

It should at least be better than training Strength with a Sot*. Considering that the Sotd is a magic weapon primarily, a melee weapon like the abyssal dagger should offer superior dps.
