I agree, it seems to add to the overall obtrusiveness of the menu bars, which isn't a good thing.

I thought the menu bars looked too bold and shadowed having that pop out effect. I thought the colours looked odd to me too, but I just put this down to my colourblindness. It's interesting to hear that you also think the colour scheme doesn't fit so well.

I think for buttons like 'play now' this 'pop out' effect is a good thing. For menu headers and stuff though, I don't think it's the best design. I think for menu headers for worlds or hiscores, the shadowing and pop out effect should go or be toned down.

Sorry but I absolutely hate this idea. Its for oldschool. This is just like updating the graphics of our characters in game. Even if it's just a little step up you're taking away at nostalgia. Why?

If this really goes through (and I'm sure it will seeing how you can make a poll question in game saying "Answer this question with a no" and it'll pass with yes) at least make sure we have a layout option to keep the website in the form it's in now.

I agree. This really hurts the navigation and functionality of the hiscores, which should be simple, clean and easy to navigate.

I think they should have the names of the skills down the left like we have now, or at least have icons to skill there.

Personally, I like the way it all looks now, on the original website. The way the background itself isn't the scroll. I like the current background: visible brown cracked wall along with the vine pillars and how the scroll is only used to showcase certain parts of info.

I like what they did but it just seems like it's taken the osrs feel out of it. It's hard to explain. It just seems modern rather than oldschool. It's like they've taken parts of the current oldschool look of the website and tried to make it bright and new, when all they need to do is keep things as it is.

Ignoring this, one thing i would like to see is the forum section. I hate how they changed the look of the forums. I loved the old look and would love to see it back.

It's good we are getting a refreshing new design but don't make it RS3 like. That navigation bar needs a little rework. Don't think like rs3 employees think, their thinking pattern is wrong. Think like an old schooler Eoc sucks
