I don't understand the need to update and "fix" everything. The old website is nice and does the job nicely, also it resembles the original one from 2007, I like that.
Let's not modernize this game beyond recognition, and yes, that begins with small steps, EOC won't come in one leap.
Ye, that's bes*cally what I wanted to say; Don't vote yes to everything, or we'll wake up one morning wondering what happened to the game we used to like, because suddenly it looks little like it. Well to be true, we happened to it, voting in all the unnecessarities.

I thought when I started playing osrs back when it was released, that there wouldn't be this constant need both from mods and players, to update, make new areas, skills, items, and so on, I thought the whole ****ept of the game was to bring back the old days, before Runescape went bad, really bad, (need I mention eoc, yelps and treassure hunt, buyable xp) from all the unnecessary updates, well I guess I was wrong. Looks like modernizing this game is the future, fix it up, make it stronger, make it cooler, make it more comfortable, make it easier. I wish it wasn't like that. I'm starting to think this nostalgia-project would actually have been better off if it originally had gotten fewer votes, so that only a "small maintainance team" would be granted.

Well that's my rant, have a nice weekend guys.

The design has a similarity with the RS3 page , I think it looks new and fresh, but RS3 design does not fit , instead of the blue bar at the top then it should be yellow / brown or grey as it looks more oldschool like the interface in osrs. The fonts should be more simulair to oldschool too. Anyways it looks very good.

I relate to you so much , ive been playing for 10 years myself.. this is the first time i write on the forum... because enough is enough! i understand the GWD.. i understand the GE..I understand the pets... i even understand the toxic blowpipe ( amazing weapon btw please dont let it drop more! :P ) but changing the website is like saying changing the graphics to the UGLY stuff they changed before EOC ( like rune armour, GSs,,,, ) please pitch your Ideas to rs3 and leave osrs as it is ... the main idea when OSRS started was because a lot of people left EOC including myself.. which was enforced to us by JAGEX Illuminati propaganda ( kidding about the Illuminati thingy ) the next thing youll see is having Torva back! which will kill the game...Stay Oldschool...

Are you saying just because they change the website you think this will lead straight to the point where they'll introduce Torva? seriously? lol

well I don't know when you started playing rs... but what i know about jagex is each update leads to another... yes i say eventually if this polls we will see dragon claws, nex, torva and graphic updates... they allready speaking about "alternate mode " which will change the game's outlook but its optional so thats fine. but changing a website is not. the first thing i saw when i first started playing rs2 was this website. and each time i see it reminds me of the old times. if they change this nostalgia , who says they wont change the other parts.

Like many others I prefer the old style. It's clear, beautiful and nostalgic as well. No need to improve anything.

Edit: Forgot to mention that up to date Grand Exchange database available from the website would be welcomed much more than new graphic style.
