The whole point of 2007 oldschool was to have the classic game back. With each update, it has been made more modern and closer to the pre-eoc. First, people who don't play much on oldschool (i.e. the r3 players) should not be allowed to vote for changes like the g.e. Second, part of the charm of the oldschool is the classic graphics and looks. If you are going to modernize/rearrange the website, make sure the colors are classic. Someone mentioned the green button is tacky and I agree. Don't assume that the r3 navigation is easy. I find the r3 website to be too busy and too complicated to use. I like the simplicity of the oldschool website and I like its feel. I like the vines at the sides of the current website that are missing on the new one. And I like the dark rocks in the background in the classic which are missing in the new proposed one. The green button, and the missing vines and dark rocks alone cause it to look too clean and "new" and it loses its classic feel. Please make this version of runescape the main version and change the name of rs3 to something else with a new website, if the games so amazing you will attract new players to rs3 without using the name rs, call it failscape or something.
