Would it not be possible for both players to be contributing to the kill counter, rather than having independent tasks? To counter leeching, the xp rate could be about 70%, or we could have it such that you only get xp for kills - whoever gets the most kills in a task would get the most xp. If someone got 0 kills, they would get no xp at all.
It just seems to me that this current proposal of co-op slayer seems a bit pointless. I mean we can already do this if we get the same tasks, and it wouldn't feel as special if tasks were independent, at least to me. Also if you're slaying with a friend, someone would always finish first so someone would always have to be waiting on the other guy before being able to start the next task.
