1. You should have put off the slayer partner poll like the soul cull.
2. You did not make the dev blog clear enough for most.
You should have just said the only way to get the same tasks every time is:
For both players to have the same slayer level range as it would apply to tasks. i.e both 90-93 or both 93+
Same quests done. i.e. Cabin fever.
Block list.
Combat level range to be assigned same task set. i.e. 110+ cb for dark beasts.
I know independently assigned means exactly that, but that would require people reading these dev blogs to understand a big word.
3. The way it's worded in the poll is debatably abusable because the wording is vague enough that it could easily allow lower level boosters to determine what task the other player gets.
"If you receive a task that your partner has blocked, or lacks the requirements to do, they will not receive the task."
The poll isn't clear that the "you" receiving the task means both players at the same time.
If the "you" refers to only player asking for the task, then the other player could potentially miss out on tasks the "you" can not do.
Should have been worded like this.
"If you OR your partner is assigned a task the other can not do, you will get different tasks."
Has be written like this because if it's programed so the player asking for the task gets one, and then it's checked against partners requirements after, that allows boosting.
Even if that's unintended and not agreeing with dev blogs wording, it could still be said to be agreeable with the pollings wording.
Has to be programed in a way that the rng randomly selects any task the master assigns.
Checks it against both and assigns task to either if they can do it, or removes that task from list and rerolls if both can not.
Meaning either it will keep rerolling till both get same task, or one gets a task, and then other will reroll till they get a different task.
