Slightly faster than the magic shortbow would be darts/knives on rapid...

I'm curious as to why the convenience of having the ropes stay there already isn't a thing. Considering, you only have to put the ropes down once while entering the Saradomin part of GWD. Why is KQ lair different?

Not to mention why would this be part of the desert elite reward when there's already a reward. (The shortcut)

Having to complete a very difficult part of the diary just for this seems ridiculous and could be dropped down to Medium/Hard, if anything.

Rather see slayer get made better instead of you just making it so you can train with a buddy. Going past 72 is almost pointless unless you want the cape.

Check out my zulrah mutagen suggestion on reddit. It basically involves having to pay zulrah's drops to an npc in exchange for points, needed to recolour the serpentine helm. The cost of 1 recolouring is equal to the amount of points you get for selling 1 serpentine helm.

(you could pay one helm for 1 recolouring, or 1 tanzanite fang for around 7 recolourings)
This will slow down the rate at which these items are dropping.
