bonds are actually a very nice idea :)

voting yes cuz of the people that cant pay to play rs07 for free :)

players that are voting no, go outside and get some friends idiots. nobody cares anymore its 2015.

Heres a list of reason to vote yes.



1.The money people buy the bonds with will go to a bigger dev team.
2.More content.
3.Perm F2P
4.Bring a halt to RWT.
5.The Game will live longer.



People are saying it takes away sense of "Achievements" what does your achievements mean when this game doesn't survive another two years and it was all for nothing?

Would you rather see it live another 10 years and enjoy times with your clan/friends or see it die in 2 years and see all your "Achievements" go to waste?

Also people starting out again, this means they don't have to spend weeks grinding out skills to go pking when they can pay £3 for bond and sell it for 1.5m osgp and get straight to pking and the person buying the bond can use it to substain membership without paying recurrent fees.

Before anyone says anything, I am lvl 125 with over 150m bank and I am bored with this game already and why? because noone is pking, it is dead. I would love to make a f2p pure & pk but i can't do that currently since F2P worlds are too dead.


Vote Yes for the survival of this game.

Agreed, if Mod Mat K says he will give us plenty of time to think about Bonds before they are polled and then turns around and says "Actually the poll we begin tomorrow!" how can we trust him?
How can we trust that we won't be getting the Squeal of Fortune in the future, as he says, if he doesn't stick to his promise of giving us "plenty of time"?

Its too bad they didn't think about the bonds until 2013 because then maybe the hipsters still living in the 2000s would agree bonds is the best idea for the longetivity for osrs. Pretty sure they would never poll any sort of microtransaction idea if the bonds made it. And if they did for whatever reason, it would fail. Most people were on the nose with squeel of fortune before eoc even hit to make the quit a permanent.

Osrs is smart enough to know bonds will only hurt those who have some sort of achievement for life attitude. Guys get over it, it is a game. Clan Defy -

Seriously from reading some of these comments about not wanting people to assume you bought your way to success.. I really thought we were done with achievment quotes but it seems not. I'm pretty sure if comp cape idea came out for osrs I would vote a big no but people appealing to this bonds idea would say yes. I worked hard for my expert dragon archer hat from chompy bird hunting just for fun. Now all these people will have it because of the diaries but you don't see me whining? because I'm happy we are at least getting more content for everyone.

Learn to be less selfish and see f2p as a must have. OSRS does not fell "old school" without f2p. Lets be honest, some players may have started out members or started sooner. But most of us back in the day as teens didn't have much cash and played f2p until we got jobs or got enough pocket money etc. THOSE ARE THE MEMORIES WE NEED FOR LONGEVITY AND MORE PLAYER BASE. So your talking about $8k just for max cash stack... Do you honestly think many would have such wealth to spend it on a game? I for one would rather spend that on a decent kit for my Rice burner and im sure alot of others would agree too..

Your thinking way too much out of the box mate.
