Doesn't mean we should encourage it or legalise gold buying.

Oh and, adapt or quit:

We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. If we let players start doing this, it devalues RuneScape for others. We feel your status in real-life shouldn't affect your ability to be successful in RuneScape.

I'll be voting yes to this poll. I sure hope it passes, despite the ridiculous amount of people who are being completely ignorant to the fact that gold buying/selling is and has always been a fact of life in Runescape. The big difference now is that instead of some gold seller lining their pockets, Jagex gets to stay in business and a player who legitimately makes gold on their own can fund their membership with their in game money making skills.

Despite not being f2p in about 10 years, I remember very well my days playing in it. I also remember the many friends I played RS with who either didn't have the money to pay for membership or would just rather play as a f2per. The introduction of bonds could help me bring those friends back to the game and could also give the people who don't have the money to spend on the game an opportunity to get membership through hard work in-game.

I may be nostalgic for the oldschool feel of RuneScape, but I'm not ignorant to what could be the most important update OSRS has ever proposed. Here's to hoping this poll passes.

Hey, guy. Guess what? You can already sell bonds on OSRS from RS3. And guess what else? It's perfectly legal. This changes nothing...except the status of FTP to permanent. Are you really going to deny everybody FTP because you can't get over your little bond taboo? Think about it.

Hey, guess what? It does not come without any risks and that DOES NOT mean we should encourage this.

I would rather play a fair game WITHOUT legal gold selling than one with F2P and legal gold selling.

That's another point I have. If OSRS sells bonds directly to OSRS players, OSRS players will no longer have to buy one from an exchange clan, which removes the possibility of them being scammed. That's great.

I think you need to wake up. If a player really wants to buy his items or gold with real life cash, he/she can easily; either by bonds on RS3 or by an illegal third party, which is my second point. Bonds on OSRS would mean less players would go to illegal third parties. As a result, there would be less bots. Again, good stuff.

This is oldschool and I don't want ppl buying their success here as well.

G.E. was fine, but this is far too much.

Even if that means there will be no F2P... Idc just voting NO.
