People who are against this are not thinking clearly.

Like jagex said before, 40-45% of the community already RWT, old school players especially buy gold from 3rd party sites. There's no difference between what people do now compared to bonds except at least the money will go to jagex to help the game instead of a random guy in his moms basement hurting the game.

Go ban bot @ Motherlode Mines. BOTs mining pay-dirt from day to day and nobody cares.

We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. If we let players start doing this, it devalues RuneScape for others. We feel your status in real-life shouldn't affect your ability to be successful in RuneScape.

At first I was wary of the idea of bonds but after watching these I think bonds + f2p could be very good for the economy and player base of osrs, one main question I have though is how did you come up with the projections for the three scenarios? What kind of model lets you predict that? I'm asuming you're using data from what happened when rs3 introduced bonds?

JAGEX AND OTHER PLAYERS PLEASE READ

Make the bonds untradeable and only able to be bought by Hans or another NPC, NOT TRADEABLE, otherwise, I'm voting no for this update.

That is a good way to ensure this game shuts down in the next year.... I'm confused are you a troll or did you just really not think that through....

If you could buy bonds with gp via an in game npc for membership then the amount of people that pay for membership would plummet and since the bonds aren't sold by Jagex and come from a npc Jagex will lose a lot of money.

People already buy bonds in rs3 sell the bonds for gp then transfer the gp from rs3 to old school. all this does is eliminate one step I dont understand why some people get so huffy puffy about pay to win when you can already do it.

As long as this is the only type of micro-transaction that ever comes to this game im fine with it seeing as people already do it anyways.

exactly ^^^^^

The only thing bonds in osrs will do Is reduce the swap scamming clans

This is the most stupid argument to pass bond into RS2.
If RS3 BONDS ruining both games - IT SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM RS3, BUT NOT ADDED TO RS2!

Bonds are not ruining RS bonds have had a huge positive impact on the economy and giving membership access to many more players and also they have affected how much illegal RWT there was....

This, if people really think that bonds will make it pay 2 play, then think about this.. Do you really think that everyone who plays old school or rs3 earned their money themselves? I think most would be surprised if they knew how many people bought money from someone. I've seen so many websites that offer this, so it's not like bonds will suddenly make things worse than they were. Jagex once said them selves that OVER half of the current player base have done RWT at least once.
