If we're going to have bonds, we may as well add in the other Micro-transactions. Squeal of Fortune please; add to poll : D.

If bonds pass, then why not? You can then buy your skills, buy gold and some stats are already a joke to train due to their AFK methods, so why not let people buy stats?

Just to point out AFK methods have been around since Runescape has been released. GG

Correct, but could you AFK for 6 hours with one click?

As far as I can remember, no.

Haha XD. I know right. I will be voting no, of course, for bonds and I agree with your previous comments. These people who started once again in 2014, 2015 have no idea how exactly this will affect the economy. This situation fits them: *Reads "Permanet F2P", eyes light up, votes 'Yes' blindly.

Since we are getting the GE. I simply don't care as much anymore as to what gets added to the game XD. If I can buy gold via Bonds why not random junk items, Gold Pieces, and XP from Squeal of Fortune? Haha.

Dont usually complain about updates but :l this seems like a really bad idea. Can see why the company in a whole is wanting to do it to make more profit but this is just the same as saying 'Should we sell gold to players through the website'.
By the time its all done the economy of oldschool will be ruined as people will be able to fund their account by real life purchases rather than having to make effort of any sort :( just seems like a bit of a sellout really!

Let's hope some streamer will be actually useful this time and tell his cattle to vote no on this.

We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. If we let players start doing this, it devalues RuneScape for others. We feel your status in real-life shouldn't affect your ability to be successful in RuneScape.

You could indeed afk for 6 hour in 1 click though I admit it was certainly not as easy. I do also agree that the the microtransaction part of this is dodgy but you have to realise that buying gold is already a thing and it's in much higher quantities at cheaper prices than bonds will be, bonds can fix this not only will it cut down a lot of the illegal rwt it provides a cash sink instead of bringing gold farmed money into the game.

If F2P is another bonus from bonds then it just makes them even more useful as we can then see new players coming back to the game or players perhaps not fortunate enough to afford membership.

It's already happening but jagex is not making profit out of it.

Yes and you believe that's a good reason?

By the same logic, we could introduce legal bots, because ''botting already happens''.

We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. If we let players start doing this, it devalues RuneScape for others. We feel your status in real-life shouldn't affect your ability to be successful in RuneScape.

The pros outweigh the cons. Even now people are using RS3 bonds to play OSRS, this will just make things more convenient (and I wont need to log on that game anymore).

They have my vote. But if they start polling stuff like: "To make the new continent Zeah (or any big update) we need to add Solomon store/Treasure Hunter/Squeal of Fortune and so." they will be digging their own grave. Maybe Jagex is just measuring waters with this and they will be trying to badger MTX on OSRS. But for the game to thrive, it needs some way of f2p.

The pros outweigh the cons.

Simple enough.
