1.There was never such a thing back then as "old school rs"
2.People like me who wants it are not fine with the current trading system and so many others.
3.Player trading will still exist with the G.E
4. RS3 Has nothing to do with the G.E
5. You didn't read the dev*log
6. A G.E does not mean free trade is going to be removed or the removal of wild. They worked on so many god damn updates for the wilderness in old school runescape do you think it's gonna be removed?

I Hope you think carefully before voting.

1 - When i refer to Old School Runescape, I am referring to the Runescape i used to love between 2003-late 2007 before the updates. It is now OSRS and therefore should be kept OLD SCHOOL.

2 - You are fine with it to the extent that you will STILL PLAY THE GAME, and have been. The trading post is a fair compromise. Many players will quit because the game has been changed to suit lazy players.

3 - Player trading will be made obsolete by automated/offline trading. People don't want to buy/sell because they want to 'play the game', but trading IS THE GAME. Of course the occasional trade will occur but most people will trade off the grand exchange, changing the game too much and making it too easy and boring and losing a lot of player interaction.

4 - RS3 became RS3 after the grand exchange updates, I have never played it and never will..

5 - I read the development blog. There will be limits on the amounts of items that can be traded and I think potentially others in the future if this goes ahead.

6 - I'm saying the grand exchange still leaves a bad taste in my mouth from when it was a part of the updates that I and many others believe ruined Runescape as we knew it.

Well, that's how people had to do it before GE (and obviously without trading post). Adding GE to old school will just add laziness to the game.
LAZINESS?? Jesus christ, are you serious???? It's nothing to do with being lazy, it's about grinding skills. I'm a skiller, I'm not supposed to use all of my free time to sell my stuff so i can afford skilling some more...

Like Wild said above, gems don't sell fast by the looks of it. I'm talking about the game in general. If you're trying to grind, look at a guide, or make something that will grind the skill, while making quick profit (like bows or cowhide or something).
That doesn't matter, this was 1 out of 1000 trades. Anything more than 5 minutes to sell my items is unacceptable.
Then this probably isn't the game for you since you actually have to work for your skills... You clearly don't have any patience and are used to the instant gratification of the G.E.
Says the guy with 1200 total - I am working hard for my skills, you clearly didn't even read the dev blog and are just crying. Get used to Ge coming into the game. I have played for 10 years.
My total level CLEARLY means everything. I'm more of a seasonal player now that I'm older and have homework piling up on me. Please tell me how I have not read the dev blog? In my original post I said yes to all but a full blown *.*. I like how you tried resorting to attacking me though.

the ge would be a fantastic update for runescape 2007 and i see no reason why we shouldn't have it. It will not affect any prices due to buy limits..
And merching via zyb and trade affects prices more than anything through the ge will.. so VOTE YES FOR THE GE! <3

Go play RS3, since you're clearly in love with the GE. Also, I checked your skills and you really shouldn't be bragging about grinding your skills. If you've actually been playing the game for a decade, you should know how to play the game right and not whine like a ******* baby

Question 1. Seriously, we already voted to NOT allow offers from offline players showing for any amount of time. How is this not a quick-fix, but another poll question?

/complaining

Voting yes for question 1 only. Any other outcome at this point I would have to consider dumping my old-school character. I came here to get away from all the garbage, and GE is the biggest pile I've ever seen. It's been great to see the things people do having value... all the little things like charging glories, reduced to zero gp by the GE.

Bank trading (question 2) just feeds the desire of some people to insist on bankstanding life. Trade is meant to be free, not restricted to certain areas. If implemented, this would lead to an explosion of buyers who will only trade with me if I drop what I'm doing and head to a bank so they don't have to go anywhere.

About to blow your mind - GE WAS released in late 2007.

Goodness...
Just reading through all these posts gives me a headache.
Some people want a ge some don't, why is everyone flaming each other over such a simple disagreement.

Have to say that my overall experience over at the rs forums has been totally negative. I post my mild opinion, and get attacked.
Seems like the forums is more of a place to flame others than a place to legitly state your opinions.
