GE for sure, but maybe downsize it? I found having spots that did the same thing to be pointless.. also includes price tracking thus coinshare and most valuable items kept on death

I like the idea of implementing the Grand exchange or some similar trade solution but I think we need to be careful about how it's done. Even something as minor as just calling it the grand exchange could irritate players that want 2007 to be its own game, and not blatantly copy rs3.

I agree the there should be no offline trading because it's basically like having a trading bot on world 1 in the current game. Since we ban those, what logic is there in creating a game service that does the exact same thing?

Also, speaking of bots I agree that adding a grand exchange would just provide a place for bots to quickly liquidate everything they cheated for. To combat this you could add quest point requirements to use the Grand exchange just to make it more tedious for a botter to set up an account. The requirement could be around 75 to 100 just to make it difficult enough without making it impossible, even for all the various types of pures to accomplish.

Also, I'm against any kind of suggested price feature. If players want (which I would like to have) is an in-game price Guide that could be displayed while posting an offer. This price Guide could show average buy and sell offers and even show lists of actual offers currently up in order to see what the player has to compete with. It should, obviously, include graphs of market trends of items as well as listing high alch price. The effects of these options would allow players to make informed trade decisions as opposed to blindly going along with what the game says the suggested price is.

Its really interesting how the mindset of the OSRS community developed over the past 2 years. Before, anyone who supported GE got bashed and flamed, now its pretty much the other way around.

Guess everyone had enough of the "social interaction", aka getting scammed, insulted, ignored etc etc., myself included.

whatever is done, needs to be done so that the overall economy is not impacted.
prior to g.e. the 1st time, there was a price guide posted on forums, prices were updated maybe 2 or 3 times per year, and this was based on going street prices, not on the fact that an impatient player wanted an instant trade so they sold for a lower price.
it has little to do with 'supply and demand'.
what we have for 'price trends' and 'going price' now is even worse,it gets adjusted constantly over trade offers, many of which are purely fictitious offers to run 'going price' up or down.
what john doe bought or sold yesterday at what price shouldn't have anything to do with the 'going price' today.
I like weighing herb seed prices vs potion prices, buy, grow, make pots and sell. daily price changes makes this almost impossible.
this isn't a stock market, let's not turn it into one again.
and just so you know, while i am not a mercher myself,i have nothing against it,but you don't have to have daily/constant price changes to be one,nor to be successful at it,it just makes it easier for you,and there is much more to consider here.

G.E please, just like before on old runescape, too many advertisers seems to ruin it, even though i don't play much I check through now and again, its also time consuming to buy/sell anything, so I vote for ge, will encourage me to play more, also run energy! thank you.
