Firm NO to a GE. Everyone here who actually played back in '07 knows the game definitively changed with November 07 GE update. That in succession with the stake nerf in September and then the Wildy removal and, lastly, free trade removal in Jan '08 signaled in a new era in RS. I still enjoyed the game thereafter but to say the GE was representative of RS 07 as a whole is a flat out lie, and you all know it.

Additionally, I understand why people want the GE; namely, the ease of buying/selling, barriers to getting scammed, and helpful splitting (for pvp drops via lootshare) it brings to the game. That being said, there's also massive price problems that the GE can cause and anyone who was around in 08-11 knows that skilling became progressively unprofitable directly because of the over supply caused by instant access/merching.

So, in my opinion we lose the true essence of 2007scape and OSRS if we just replicate the GE; it was one of the pivotal changes that occurred that transitioned RS into a different era, and if it comes to OSRS it will be no different. I wouldn't necessarily be against some edits or even expansion of the trade post system--I think its working fine, and it's an original way to deal with the challenges some players face in trading while staying to OSRS. However, I think the development team, and Jagex as a whole, need to be clear about their intentions with this game: are these dedicated authentic 07 servers meant for a nostalgic 07 experiences with minor edits and additions based solely on player input; or is this game meant to become something more, and develop its own character irrespective of the demands of staying "old school".

If its the former, I vote trading post with possible compromise on automatic trading; if its the latter, well, I would hope we could at least have an original to OSRS trading station not just recycled RS3 GE garbage**

**;DR: NO GE, and define where this game is going.

As soon as offline auto-trade is introduced, all resources will plummet in cost. This is not a good thing people. Having buying and selling options would be nice, as with viewing from anywhere (please do not add extra item to carry around, maybe right click on trade button and have a trade post option). Quick hop is already an option on the commonly used OSBuddy client that should be available in game(right click --> join). Players with private set as offline should be an option players can toggle, not an outright removal of them for everyone.

full GE please. offline trading or not doesn't matter to me... games so boring standing around trying to get items for high level grinding and content, or low level quests.

Games been out long enough, just do it already..

just how I feel about it.. I know some people wont agree.

Can definitely agree with this.

Please DO NOT implement the Grand Exchange. I'm all for being able to start a trade session from any bank on the map, but I hate the idea of having a grand exchange in OSRS. Not having the GE is one of the primary reasons I play this over RS3.

Definitely bring back the grand exchange. Really, what is the harm in bringing back the g/e. MAYBE the prices of some items will suffer slightly, but in the long run it does not seem like that big of a sacrifice. Besides, we practically have these item prices set based off demand already with the new trading posts and the previous "Zyb price guide." People think that these two trading systems are so different from each other that they are afraid that the prices may take some impact. The truth is that these two trading systems are not so different from each other. The only difference, really, is just one just involves a long and monotonous process that involves you to stand for hours on end, waiting for someone to come along and buy a small fraction of what you're selling. It's that scenario as opposed to just selling what you have. The time spent selling your products is time better spent accumulating your products. Even if the prices do suffer slightly, the money lost is redeemed by not having to spend hours just trying to sell it in the first place. The trade system does not define 07. People are trying so hard to preserve this idiotic tradition of "player interaction" when, in reality, it just adds a time consuming hindrance to everyone's game experience. This current trading system has no value and needs to be improved. IMPROVE THE SYSTEM WITH THE GRAND EXCHANGE
