but yet all these players want to recreate easyscape. I guess its true, history is bound to repeat itself because the human species is too ignorant.

the reason people have a problem with it is because it takes a lot of player interaction and interesting trade situations out of the game in exchange for extremely fast, simple and convenient trade.

GG OldSschoolRS, 1\2013 - 1\2015 , It dies on the new year :(

Why exactly is it such a bad thing to have fast and simple trade instead of spending literally hours selling off stuff to turn a profit for all your hard work?

Why exactly is it such a bad thing to have to simply find a buyer for yourself even if it takes a few minutes? Should we also nerf wc and make it easier because it takes a long time to achieve 99?

I like how you can't answer my question. You know why you can't? Because there isn't a problem with things being simpler.

Do you honestly think that's the only problem? First, it doesn't take anywhere near an hour to sell items if you aren't doing something like merchanting. Normal players won't have 200k Logs or 100k Lobsters to sell unless they bought them off somebody or has a bot. Secondly, this 'hard work' you speak of will get less profit because inflation will make each gp worth less. Its how the economy works.

ty for answering what i cant be ****** to type out

I don't get why people don't want it, it was a 2007 update so it's still Old School. 1) makes merching far too easy 2) could harm skillers 3) makes the game much easier Just to name a few.. I don't see why people need a Grand Exchange, Zyb works fine. A lot of people think that a Grand Exchange will somehow change the supply and demand of items, which is not true.[/quote] If you really understood how trade works right now, you would realize it's a lot more easy to merch now then it would be if there were a Grand Exchange. People don't want to spend hours selling whatever they've got, so they sell low to get quick cash which plays right into the hands of merchers. Grand Exchange would eliminate that completely. OH NOOO not the poor skillers :O /ridiculous. What the hell is wrong with this game being more convenient and less frustrating? Answer that for me please.

It is not a simple matter of convenience. That is why there are arguments happening. If nothing else changed other than people being able to buy items instantly then sure put the system in, but that isn't how the world works. One thing leads to another and there will always be a cost.
