Exactly. We took what we got, but now that there's a choice to move forward, the majority wants pre eoc

Stop spamming your QFC, people who want GE are set in stone in the idea for the most part like me. Nothing will change my mind.

Yes I want a fully functional GE and I'm a 2001 player with over 2b xp. Figured since that's so important on this thread I just want to be cool like the cool kids and throw my credentials around like it matters. Just remember folks, the higher your numbers the more your opinion matters on here! ;p

Have you even read my thread? I posted a solution with GE implemented for convenience which is why you want it. Read the whole post first and tell me why my idea is bad before you act all high and mighty and disregard it

but yet all these players want to recreate easyscape. I guess its true, history is bound to repeat itself because the human species is too ignorant.

the reason people have a problem with it is because it takes a lot of player interaction and interesting trade situations out of the game in exchange for extremely fast, simple and convenient trade.

GG OldSschoolRS, 1\2013 - 1\2015 , It dies on the new year :(

Why exactly is it such a bad thing to have fast and simple trade instead of spending literally hours selling off stuff to turn a profit for all your hard work?

Why exactly is it such a bad thing to have to simply find a buyer for yourself even if it takes a few minutes? Should we also nerf wc and make it easier because it takes a long time to achieve 99?

The GE for me was arguably the best update in Runescape history. When it was first implemented it made the game so much more enjoyable for me and I'm sure many other people. The simplicity it brought to acquiring items allowed me to focus more on actual gameplay. Instead of wasting time trying to find 5 of one item from some random person, I was able to just put in an offer and get it within seconds. Please bring the full GE to Old School. The lack of GE in Old School is the one thing keeping me from playing it regularly. I fully support the GE in OSRS.
Took the words right out of my mouth. I love to do quests. But, it really takes away the appeal of Old School for me if i have to waste so much time collecting the items before hand.

It's funny, I never used the trading post even though I voted for it, i find it easier to just find a player selling the item i want. I'm gonna vote for a GE, because i would think you could sell items like Unids better without going on **bez.

A full Grand Exchange with a few changes would be a great idea

#1 Instead of a set price like the original GE allow players the ability to choose what price they are selling the item for, similar to the trading post. when you search a specific item you get a list of offers and if someone is interested they can go ahead and buy how ever many of said item at that price without having to trade directly. That makes trading much easier and gives the players the ability to complete other tasks while waiting for their items to sell.

#2 Introducing the GE also allows for the addition of LS/CS but it may conflict with my first point. In order for LS/CS to work there needs to be some way for the game to track the average sale price for an item for the past 30 days and split that amount among those present for the drop

Give me some feedback on this guys

If you base LS/CS by average sale price, people can manipulate that by selling items back and forth at prices much higher than normal.

I like how you can't answer my question. You know why you can't? Because there isn't a problem with things being simpler.
